Aston Martins race inspired supercar, the limited edition Vantage GT8. Inspired and influenced by the V8 Vantage GTE race car, the GT8 is the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage ever. In addition to the dramatically sculpted, mostly carbon fibre bodywork and revised performance orientated chassis, the 4.7 litre V8 engine has been upgraded to produce 440bhp. The GT8 was available with either the 6-speed manual or Sportshift III gearbox. This combined with the dramatic weight saving of 100 kg, the Vantage GT8 boasts some very impressive performance numbers including 4.4sec 0-60mph and a top speed of 190mph. Limited to just 150 cars worldwide, predictably all had sold out shortly after being announced in 2016. Much admired by motoring journalists and road testers alike, the profile of this model was further cemented by Aston Martin securing class victory at the gruelling Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2017 in a close to production specification Vantage GT8. The GT8 we are most excited to offer, is finished in the Halo colour scheme of Sterling Green with Lime Green accents, resembling the Aston Martin Racing cars. The lightweight interior combines luxury fitments with carbon fibre and pure black alcantara highlighted with lime green stitching. This manual transmission example is very highly specified, has covered only delivery mileage and is therefore offered in as new condition. Available for viewing at our West London showrooms now.

First shown to the public at the 1953 Earls Court Motor Show, the DB2/4 succeeded the two seat only DB2 and is widely thought to be the fist ever production car with Hatchback access to the rear. Retaining the W O Bentley designed 2.6 litre twin cam 6-cylinder engine, the DB2/4 satisfied the demand for 2+2 seating, whilst retaining the performance of the race bread DB2. Over the 2 years of production, just 565 examples were built. Delivered when new via Aston Martin agents Brooklands of Bond Street in 1954. Mulliner bodied and finished in Blue Haze with mid Blue hides and contrasting piping chassis LML/631 was first registered KMR 567 in 1954, this number being retained on the car to today. A succession of recorded keepers follows, before single ownership between 1973 1993. After some 20 years of ownership, the car was resold in 1994 requiring restoration. Commencing some 15 years later, the body off and total restoration was been completed in 2014 to concours standard by professional restorers, leaving no aspect of the car untouched. A comprehensive photographic record, with detailed statements of the restoration, clearly shows the extent and detail of the restoration works completed. Subsequently used only occasionally, for show and display purposes the car is in particularly outstanding condition. Resplendent in its original colours, with matching number engine and original registration, KMR 567 is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of the DB2/4 we have seen and is ready to be enjoyed or grace any of the finest collections.

- Complete body off professional restoration - Concours condition - Eligible for Mille Miglia - Factory build sheet, early service history & buff log book. - 1 of 309 built Announced to the worlds press in 1950, the new DB2 was the first production Aston Martin equipped with a new 2.6 litre, 6 cylinder twin cam engine, designed under the guidance of W.O. Bentley and race proven at Le Mans in 1949 and 1950. An advanced new chassis, clothed in an aerodynamic aluminium body, the uncomplicated and lightweight design was noted for its simplicity of line and pleasing proportions. Agile for the period and with a top speed of 117 mph, the DB2 ushered in a new and successful era for Aston Martin during the 1950s. The car we are offering, produced in October 1952 and delivered through agents Brooklands of Bond Street, to its first South Kensington owner, was maintained by Aston Martin themselves until 1959, having changed hands in 1955. By 1983 the car was sold in a dilapidated state and remained in poor condition until changing hands again in 2012, after which a 3 year body off restoration took place, carried out by highly respected Aston Martin specialists, for a well-known Aston Martin collector and racer. Meticulous attention to period detail during the rebuild has culminated in the outstanding car now being offered, 2 years after completion. Professionally stored since and used for entry into concours events and on short tours, the current condition is testament to the high quality of the restoration works. A detailed description, invoices and multiple photographs of the restoration carried out to this car are included in the history file and clearly confirm, the quality and detail of workmanship carried. Finished in non-metallic Mist Grey with new Connolly Vaumol hides in Fawn and Grey Wilton carpeting, the car sits on body coloured Tourrino alloy and steel rimmed wheels and displays a superb period aura. With lightweight, agile handling, smooth six cylinder power and ample cabin space, the DB2 has become a firm favourite and is eligible for many historic tours including the annual Mille Miglia retrospective. Described in period Aston Martin marketing materials as Race Breed Luxury the DB2 was commented on by Autosport magazines John Bolster as, remarkable for its comfort and luxury. Sophisticated and purposeful, the basis of the DB2s advanced design stood the test of time and stayed in production until 1959. A superb addition for any collection, this restored example of the ground breaking DB2, is available for inspection now at our West London showrooms.

True to the original designers pen, the Series I DB4 represents the very first, of a long line of iconic and highly successful 1960s DBs. Adulterated thereafter on account of growing families and increasingly, higher performance early Series I DB4s are identifiable in having rear hinged opening bonnets and frameless side windows. With the Superleggera construction, the Series I cars weighed in at just over 1,300 kilos. Of the 149 Series I cars built, this delightful matching numbers example has been extensively mechanically overhauled over the last 13 years. During this period, the car has been frequently driven and shown at various classic events. The foundations and integrity of its current condition and believed low mileage of just 67,900 miles, is rare to find and could only be improved with some sympathetic cosmetic refurbishment. Originally finished in Snow Shadow Grey with Burgundy hides this pleasing Series I DB4 has the hallmark of originality, lost on later series cars and overly restored examples. Supplied with a history file containing an Aston Martin build sheet, early registration details, parts and maintenance records, details of works carried out by the last owners engineers, invoices and previous MOT certificates. Described by the last multiple Aston Martin owner as the best he has owned this early DB4 is a on the button and a delight to drive.
