Rare sought after Nismo parts will return to production for the R32 GT-R

Since the launch of Nissan’s Nismo Heritage Parts Program in 2017: the Yokohama brand has lead a growing number Japanese manufactures in a renaissance of sorts, in parts support and restoration services for many of their storied and historic models.

Since the program’s inception, Toyota has launched their own parts reproduction program for the third and fourth-generation Supra; Honda too is reproducing parts for their cutesy little Beat roadster; and Mazda has even launched a full-blown in-house factory restoration program for the humble NA MX-5 (if you live in Japan that is…).

The Nismo Heritage Parts Program has recently announced its fourth expansion; encompassing various rare and sought-after Nismo body parts for the R32-generation Skyline GT-R.

Completely new rear spoilers; along with previously-rare N1 boot lip spoiler, bonnet lip, three-piece side skirts and front bar ducts will all re-enter production – hopefully offering a welcome stabilisation to the, at-times, extremely lucrative secondhand market.

They’re even re-releasing an 'old-logo' Nismo boot sticker, for a suggested retail price of just AU$27.62. For context, we’ve seen numerous ‘new old stock’ examples of these 30-year old stickers sell for upwards of AU$300 on Japanese online auction site: Yahoo Japan.

This Nismo-flavoured fourth expansion adds on to an already sizeable range of reproduction parts, for all R32, R33, and R34 generation GT-Rs.

The big news came in December 2018, when Nissan announced that the venerable RB26 2.6lt inline-six motor would re-enter production.

Nismo heritage parts are available to be ordered worldwide, through your local Nissan dealership parts network.
