The Gen-F series, which is based on the VF Commodore series went on sale in August 2013.The Gen-F GTS features a 6.2 supercharged LSA V8 engine which provides 430 kW of power and 740Nm of torque. To assist with its cooling requirements, the GTS is fitted with a stacked plate engine oil cooler and a stand-alone water-to-air charge-air cooling system. Unique tail shafts cater for the higher torque loads and the rear differential helps transfer all of the power to ground. At the time of its release and still to date, the GTS was the most powerful car ever produced in Australia. Like the ClubSport, the GTS is available in both a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission and it also features 20-inch alloy wheels. Due to the increase in power the GTS has a larger brake package than the ClubSport, also for the sportier look a larger rear spoiler. The GTS is also equipped with generation 3 magnetic ride control or MRC. There are three modes for the MRC, tour, sport/performance and track. TheGTS is equipped with a driver preference dial that has four modes to adjust the bi-model exhaust and MRC, these are Tour, Sport, Performance, Track. Muscle Car Warehouse offers to you this excellent example of the VF GTS model. Originally built in June of 2016 and sparingly used since by its one fastidious owner. Having only travelled just over 10,600 kilometres since new and yet to have its first service completed. From front to back the car is in exceptional condition just as you would expect from a car that has travelled this amount of kilometres. The Prussian Steel paint work compliments the lines of this car perfectly and again, is in excellent condition. All the original wheels and tyres are also unmarked. Powering this beast is the Gen-F 6.2 litre supercharged LSA putting out a healthy 430kw. The GTS is fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission for added ease when driving. Inside has all the standard features a GTS would have including the beautiful leather seats. As you can tell this car has been very well cared for. Naturally, the GTS still retains its logbook, owners manual, associated paperwork as well as the gifts that wereexclusively gifted to all HSV owners for every year of their first three years of ownership. This beautiful GTS is now available by appointment at our Kogarah facility.

1977 HOLDEN LX TORANA A9X HATCHBACK. VALENCIA ORANGE 1 OF 3!! During 1977, the LX series also had the development of another limited-build high-performance option aimed at winning in Australian Touring Car racing, and in particular at the annual Bathurst 1000 touring car race. This A9X Option was available on the 5.0-litre V8-powered SLR 5000 sedan and SS hatchback models. The A9X visually resembled the L34-optioned LH model, but with the addition of a rear-facing bonnet scoop designed to increase airflow into the engine bay to produce maximum power in motor racing applications. The A9X package varied from the old L34 inroad form in that whilst the engine was not modified, the A9X nevertheless had some special mechanical features such as rear disc brakes, heavy-duty axles, and a heavy-duty 10 bolt differential. After being rushed into Group C touring car racing, Peter Brock gave the A9X a dream debut by winning the 1977 Hang Ten 400 at Sandown. However, after he put his Torana on pole position, the A9X ultimately lost its debut Bathurst race in 1977 to theFord Falcons of Allan Moffat and Colin Bond. In a show of the A9Xs superiority, Brock and Richards won the 1979 race by a record six laps, with Brock setting the touring-car lap record on the last lap of the race. If this isnt the Holy Grail of Holden Muscle Cars then we dont know what is!! Super rare A9 Hatchback finished in Valencia Orange, the first of three made in this beautiful colour. It was the 51st of the 100 examples ever produced, which makes this car incredibly rare when you think about how many still exist today. Originally built on the 28th of October 1977, the first sold exactly two months later on the 28th of December 1977, through Shacks Cockburn in Naval Base, Western Australia. Staying with the first owner until 1980 where it was believed to have been traded in at Independent Motors in Western Australia, then move on to the second private owner. It finally changed hands for the last time to the current owner on the 15th of January 1985. The car had not left Western Australiauntil recently when it was brought to our facility to be sold! From 1985 it remained unused until approximately 1987 in which time the car was resprayed. Due to a change of circumstance the car was deregistered in 1994, then in 2001 it was treated to a full rotisserie restoration which included a freshen up of the driveline and the interior. The car has been detailed in preparation for sale, including some paint correction and rectification of minor stone chips to the front area of the car. The car still retains all of its original fibreglass flares, rear spoiler, bonnet scoop and original plastic front spoiler and plastic brake ducts. Rarely do such cars become available, so now is your chance to secure a very significant piece of Australian Muscle Car history. Now available by appointment only in our Kogarah facility or do not hesitate to contact one of our friendly staff via phone or email for more information.

In 1969 the famed Talladega Superspeedway opened its gates, and at the time it was a track unlike any other in the world. Its 5 story high banks allowed a man to travel faster on wheels than ever before. However, push too hard and the colossal track would eat your car alive. In the late 1960s Detroit had begun to produce faster and more aerodynamic cars for NASCAR. Cars such as the Ford Torino Talladega, the Dodge Charger 500 and several others began to dominate the NASCAR circuit. While these cars were the fastest cars in the world they were not capable of reaching 200 MPH even on a super speedway. Some drivers at the time were afraid to even drive on Talladega. In order for the 200 MPH barrier to be broken, the right car and the right man were needed. The man turned out to be none other than Big Buddy Baker, and the right car was the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Buddy Baker was a 6 foot 6 giant, and he had enough guts and brute strength to attempt such a feat. The Charger Daytona was the fastest and the most aerodynamic car to hit the tracks back in those days. On March 24th, 1970, Baker set out to make history in his race-tuned Hemi equipped Daytona. He took his winged warrior flat out on the high bank oval, punched the throttle into the fire and broke the 200 MPH barrier. He did so with an average lap speed of 200.096 MPH, forever leaving his name in the record books next to one of the most important milestones in NASCAR history. In fact, this car was actually too successful on the track, as the seemingly endless dearth of wins in 1969 by the Daytona and in 1970 by the Superbird resulted in NASCAR changing the rule book. As a result, these cars werebanned from the sport!! The car we present to you here is a clone of that very car Buddy Baker broke the rule books with!! A 1970 Dodge Charger built to disguise the car that Buddy accelerated to 200+ MPH way back in 1970. Starting life as a 383, automatic, Charger 500 but now sporting beautiful bright blue paintwork with white stripe across the rear together with the special #88 livery and fitted with the special nose cone and huge rear wing, making this iconic tribute look like it is doing 200mph standing still!! Under the hood is nothing but the very best, a genuine NASCAR 426 cubic inch fuel injected Hemi engine producing in excess of 500 horsepower all controlled by a MOTEC engine management system. Side exiting exhaust system also adds to the race feel!! The Hemi engine is backed up by a 727 Torqueflite automatic gearbox. Inside is as per original with standard seats in black vinyl. Keeping an eye on all the excitement under the hood are a selection of Autometer gauges. The car sits perfectly on a set of NASCARStockcar rims with period Goodyear stencilled tyres. So, if you are in the market for a special Muscle Car for your car collection then look no further!! Now available via video inspection at our Kogarah facility.
