Subaru's move to build a rally-inspired version of its Impreza line was truly inspired and led to enormous commercial success.

Countless versions have been produced in the 27 years (yes, it really is that long!) since they were launched, hoewever the true believers have always lusted after the STi series. And even there, you get layers of STi.

This example of the breed is towards the upper end of the range. High-end 'Subies' tend to gain collector interest over the long term, particularly if they're a manual and in the signature WR Blue - which this one is.

The owner goes to great lengths to provide documentation and the car claims 143,000km on the odo. Located in Melbourne, it's priced at $38,000.
