Classic Car Auction Results - Australia
Australian classics are hot auction property.

You hear all sorts of wild stories about prices and people going nuts at local auctions for classic cars, and some of them are true!

Here is our selection of the major local events.

(Keep coming back, as it's updated regularly.)

Update, Oct 3, 2018: Prices have been steadily climbing pretty much across the board for decent quality classics, up until last month. There is just a hint the market may now be tapering off, given the current softening of real estate prices and more cautious lending by financers.

Premium cars (particularly world models) will still attract solid money, as most of the people who can afford them tend to reasonably bullet-proof when it comes to finances.

That said, premium Aussie car values are historically volatile. Prices dropped 50 per cent-plus around the circa 2007 global financial crisis, though they did eventually come back.
