Premium engine and lots of tuning work
For a lot of Ford fans, a fastback sixties coupe with a 427 is one of those things you dream about owning. This 1966 Fairlane has all the right spec, including a manual transmission.
According to the seller, it started life as an S code 390, and was modified in the USA.
Those mods included the fitting of a side-oiler 427 wth twin carburettors, plus a list of Holman Moody gear.
The four-speed top-loader manual rounds out the package and puts it very high on the desirablity list.
As for the chassis, it has a similar list of changes including a disc brake conversion.
The Fairlane is with Muscle Car Stables and is priced at $79,990.
