Is there anything more Australian than V8 Holden Ute? We dont think there is, and if you agree than this gorgeous rotisserie restored 1974 Holden HQ Belmont Ute must be seen to be believed. Not only has been beautifully restored but it is also quite rare too. Special order with a 253 4.2 litre Holden V8 engine has been mildly worked and sits perfectly in the super clean engine bay. Behind that is the M20 four-speed manual transmission. Finished in Willow with brown trim colour scheme. When restored air conditioning, GTS wheels and mudflaps were added. The Belmont comes with its logbooks, owners manual, original number plates and a Holden Historical Services Production Report stating it was originally sold from Ross Hannon Motors, Balgowlah on Sydneys northern beaches. Fisher of Sunshine/Northcote with the Registration Number GJN-874 according to the Original Documents accompanying the Healey. The Healey was Modified and Tuned by Bill Clemens of Clemens Sporting cars in Hughesdale for Competition Events, and was Raced from September 1956 till May 1957 with an Article in 'Sports Car World' in May 1957 Stating it was 'One of The Fastest Healey Hundreds in Australia'. ICONIC LUXURY SPORTS COUPE The Bristol 403 is powered by the 1971cc BMW 328 designed pushrod inline 6 cylinder engine featuring hemispherical combustion chambers with inclined valves, downdraught inlet ports and domed pistons, all combined to produce a very healthy 100BHP which, when coupled to the 4 speed manual gearbox was able to propel the Bristol to a genuine 104MPH. The Bristol was well recognised in the period for its ride quality and roadholding, aided by the independent front suspension and torsion bar rear suspension with telescopic shock absorbers all round. The brakes are 11" Lockheed Hydraulic Drums Front and Rear, the front being Alfin type for improved heat dissipation whilst the rear are standard.
