You have to admit that the whole idea of a 'brute in a suit' car has some appeal. On one hand you're sitting in something that's luxurious and not too lairy...that is until you hit the right pedal.

HSV produced several generations of Senator and this late version is running a 6.32lt LS3 V8 claiming a healthy 340kW, or around 450 horses in old measure.

Running an auto transmission, it claimed a very respectable 0-100km/h time of under five seconds.

This example claims a decent service history and is up for auction through Collecting Cars.
