1925 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Barrel Sided tourer Chassis number: 122AU Registration number: BF7639 A stunning car bodied in the 1980's by Reeves as an exact copy of a Barker Barrel sided tourer. Indeed an original Barker car was used as a template to construct the car. It has the coachwork left in Raw polished aluminium giving it a Maharajah style appearance & clearly standing out when amongst other Rolls Royce cars. At the time of the body being mounted to the car the chassis, engine, axles & brakes were all rebuilt to as new. Since then the car has covered very few miles & is consequently in commensurate wonderful mechanical condition. When viewed from underneath the car is spotless & looking new. To the interior is buttoned blue leather throughout extending to the twin occasional stools that fold out of the bulkhead making the car a true 7 seat conveyance. An Auster style screen is also fitted for the protection of rear occupants. The roof is of dark blue double duck canvas cloth & is in as new condition. A pair of tonneau covers come with the car covereing the front & rear passenger areas. A radiator cover also comes with the car made from the same double duck material. A full set of small tools is located in the running board. Being a late Ghost this car is well suited to long tours. It is equipped with 4 wheel brakes & fuel delivery is via its originbal autovac unit. A large motoring trunk has ben restored & is fitted to the rear luggage rack. The engine is a pargon of silence & is detailed to show standards with masses of polished brass & copper. A nickel Klaxon is fitted to the bulkhead. To sum up, this is a very striking beautifully executed late Rolls Royce Silver Ghost incorporating all the improvements that had been devised to improve the cars during their 20 year production run. It needs nothing, wants for nothing & is ready for extended long distance use. A gallery of large high-resolution pictures may be viewed on our website. Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1952 Bentley R-Type DHC by Graber for sale. This unique Bentley was first bought by Professor Rudolf Geigy, biologist, zoologist, geneticist amnd CEO of the Swiss Pharmaceutical company, CIBA-GEIGY. He ordered an R-Type chassis from Rolls-Royce and Bentley at Derby, and had it delivered to Swiss coachbuilders Graber in Wichtracg, where he asked Hermann Graber to design and build a drophead coupé for himself as a 50thbirthday present. Graber founded in the 1920s, had a fine reputation of building bodies for British cars, including Alvis, Lagonda, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce and Rover, and was famed for its beautiful, perfectly balanced and rather restrained lines. On chassis B89RS Hermann Graber styled a typically graceful and individual car, with a straight-through wing line, rear quarter lights, and the large soft-top very well harmonised with the boot lines. Underneath, the Bentley R Type chassis and drivetrain was very like that of the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn: power came from the well proven straight-six with inlet-over-exhaust valves, but with twin SU carburettors rather than the single one fitted to the Silver Dawn, it produced and estimated 130bhp, enough for lively performance up to around 100mph. The front suspension was independent with wishbones and coil springs, and there was a live axle with leaf springs at the rear. The drum brakes were servo-assisted. The main difference with the preceding model was the longer chassis which allowed more luggage space and gave scope for come beautiful bodywork to be added. Standard steel factory bodies were available, but many chassis were sent to coachbuilders. Professor Geigy kept the car for a decade before it went to an owner in Germany, and it later travelled to Hong Kong. In recent years the car was sent back to Austria, to Zweimüller near Linz, for a complete, nut and bolt restoration, and since then the car has only sparingly been used on dry days. Today the car is in absolute concours condition, which was proven by its recent entry into the 2018 Concours of Elegance 2018 at Hampton court Palace. 265 RMV was first registered on the 21st May 1958 and was supplied new in Cornish Grey to Neil Tool Co Ltd, Tottenham, North London. The XK spent it's early life in London, Surrey and Essex but was off the road for around 30 years, discovered in a collapsed garage in 2002. From 2002 to 2005 the XK was subject of a 138,000 rebuild and transformation, creating a first class driving car that would perform, handle and offer the ultimate XK driving experience in comfort and style, more than capable of dealing with modern road conditions. A full body off restoration began and in order to achieve the very best results, a brand new powder coated chassis was purchased. All of the panel work was replaced and repaired where necessary and an early decision was made to remove the front wing side lights from the top of the wings as this was an area that encouraged corrosion. A spare wheel was carefully fitted and is accessible from outside under the boot floor. On completion the coachwork was refinished in theoriginal Jaguar colour of Cornish Grey. Mechanically, the original 3.4 litre engine was replaced with a rebuilt series three XJ6 4.2 unit and fuelled by throttle bodied fuel injection with PECO fuel injectors. Submersible fuel pumps deliver the fuel, whilst power is fed through a Jaguar five speed gearbox with S-type selector and 3:31 Power Lock differential at the rear. An engine management system controls fuel, ignition and cooling fans and Gaz coil over shock absorbers and springs have been fitted. Brakes are highly upgraded with a twin circuit hydraulic system with adjustable bias at the front and rear. Four pot callipers with vented and cross drilled discs are at the front and Series III XJ6 callipers at the rear. To accommodate the taller driver, a collapsible and adjustable steering column has been introduced and finished with a wood rimmed Mota-Lita steering wheel. New wire wheels and a set of 215/65/16 Pirelli P6000 tyres fitted. A bespoke wiring harness incorporates a twelve volt negativeearth system with electric rev counter and odometer that was zeroed at completion of the build. The front headlamps are modified original J type units now with halogen bulbs and side lights. An electric power steering system eases driving as does the two speed wiper motor system for clear vision in all conditions; air conditioning has also been added for comfort making the car ideal for some summer Continental touring, electric windows are another modification present. The interior has been trimmed using the finest quality materials. The seats are early XJS trimmed in red leather and incorporate headrests for safety. A digital radio and electric aerial provide the entertainment and two lockable compartments can be found behind the seats and the back panel folds down revealing the boot compartment. For additional convenience and security, the XK is secured by remote central locking and has the additional benefit of a Tracker. 265 RMV is absolutely outstanding to drive and offers a relaxed andcomfortable experience with the car staying in a straight line without having to make constant inputs to the steering. All gauges record correct temperatures and pressures and performance is something quite special. The engine is perfect, it sounds wonderful and under acceleration is quick offering impressive performance and is a car that keeps up with modern traffic. The five speed gearbox is a delight up and down the gears and the car handles perfectly. Since completion of the rebuild, 11,500 miles have been covered since completion of the rebuild proving this is a car ideal for regular or even everyday use. This impressive rebuild has been carried out by a well respected XK specialist and some exceptional engineering and workmanship has gone into this car. Include the purchase of an XK150 FHC needed restoration, a project like this today would cost in the region of 200,000. The fact that is has been completed over 12 years and has covered 11,500 miles should give real confidence that this is nowa well used, proven car that really offers an incredible driving experience. The XK attended Goodwood Revival last year and is without the doubt the very best driving XK we have ever experienced. If looking for a classic Jaguar with modern performance, comforts and modifications, this should be the car to buy. Price: 149,995

This outstanding Ferrari 575M has only covered 6650 miles from new. This Rosso Red example was supplied new by C.DE Salamanca, S.A to its first owner in the Southern Spanish City of Jaen on the 26th September 2006. The supplying dealer carried out the vehicles first service in November 2009 at 1066 miles and Ferrari data sheets confirm it was previously health checked at 956 miles in 2007. The cars next major service was at 1736 miles in 2010 and again at various points with Ferrari for upkeep ahead of a service at 4670 miles in November 2014. Records with the car confirm from 2006 to late 2014 the Ferrari had 15966 euros of maintenance, service and upkeep expenditure. In March 2015 the most recent owner, then based in Marbella purchased the Ferrari from a Malaga based dealership F Immo Car Gallery S.L with a warranted mileage of 6555 miles. In 2016, the owner returned home to the UK with his multi car collection and had the Ferrari delivered to Fosker Engineering LLP for 7,000 of work thatincluded servicing, replacement cambelts, renewing the tensioner bearings, renewing auxiliary belts, fitting new engine mounts, rear brake discs, handbrake shoes and new headlamp rubbers and since then the car has covered less than 100 miles. The Ferrari has arrived with us in immaculate condition and comes with its three sets of keys, service receipts and invoices and original brown leather wallet including all correct manuals and service book plus Ferrari torch, original tool kit, tyre inflator, battery trickle charger and indoor car cover. This has been a garaged car, never exposed to UK winter roads and except for the past 50 or so miles, all its driving has been in the warm Southern Spanish climate. Having had very little exposure to the sun due to its incredibly low mileage, the Rosso paintwork is exceptional with a stunning deep, bright finish, the bodywork is first class, wheels excellent and the interior outstanding due to its limited use. With only 6550 miles from new, it is trulyoutstanding on the road and this front engine, rear wheel driven V12 is a true powerhouse with a quoted top speed of 202mph and an impressive 509bhp. This stunning car is superb fun to drive, offers exhilarating performance and is in excellent condition throughout. Most owners opted for the F1 gearbox new and it offers lightening quick upshifts and fabulous throttle blipping down changes, marshalled by software that prevents the driver from selecting inadvisable gears. Interestingly, the F1 sequential box can change in just .22 of a second, around half the time of the manual gearbox meaning the 575M with F1 gearbox take just 4.0 seconds 0-60mph against 4.25 seconds for the manual car. This is a fantastic buy, perfect if looking for a car to take to into mainland Europe and with optional extra's to include the sports carbon seats, leather rear shelf and optional wing shields, this ultra-low mileage example most certainly looks just as good as it drives. Please note the Ferrari will be supplied with12 months MOT, freshly serviced with cambelts replaced. The private registration mark is not included in the sale. Price: 124,995
