Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1975 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Limousine by Mulliner Park Ward For Sale. Reg OFX442P Chassis PRH4824, engine P4824 Purchased in 2011 after several years of searching for a PV or PVI but never finding one in sufficiently good useable condition. Rolls-Royce continued to produce a chassis for coach-built bodies from 1968 to 1992 but only 374 were supplied, with over 70 to kings and queens and heads of state (seven of these being fully armour plated), 19 to public corporations, 18 to their music, stage and screen clientele, and the remainder to businesses and private owners. Although one started in 1971 was not finished until 1993, and another was destroyed by fire on board a ship delivering to South Africa. For the majority of these magnificent carriages the body was individually built to the new owners requirements. Ours was ordered in July 1973 and eventually supplied over two years later to the Alexander Howden Group (insurance company in London) in August 1975. In the early 1980s it became the Lord Mayor of Manchesters official transport with it being used by Princess Anne and the Duchess of Kent whilst on official engagements in the area. A mileage log for the latter part of their ownership shows mileage at that time to be in the 50,000s. It then passed to a Huddersfield based businessman who had a small fleet of Phantoms and after a full respray to their house colours of Ascot Grey was used for business use. They ceased using the Phantoms in the early 2000s but retained this one as they wanted to complete a comprehensive restoration but in 2011 they lost some of their storage space and hence we were able to purchase it. We were told it had recently had a full gearbox overhaul by specialist Gary Whitehead. It appears not to have been used much after this work. On purchase it went to Harvey Wash for servicing and to a local bodywork specialist for comprehensive metal replacement of lower wings including inner rears, sill ends and lower front body mounts. The car was thoroughly gone through with any corroded areas being treated or replaced, this work included new front coil springs (now unavailable), one front king pin, upper and lower pivot pins, rebuilt rear springs etc. Another specialist Chris Staples rebuilt the heating and demisting systems. In 2015 Phantom specialist John Smith fully rebuilt the original engine, with new bearings, rings, seals etc and uprated rear crank oil seal using original parts from R-R and this is now reinstalled into the car. The front section of exhaust was also replaced. The interior has needed no attention being in excellent Baroda Blue wool cloth, the same as the Queens. With a brand new rebuilt engine and the other work completed in the last three years this vehicle is in top condition. .. 1934 Austin Seven APD Military Tourer Chassis Number: 276655 Registration number:YXG775 A rare survivor of an assortment of Austins built to military contract specification. This car has had much money spent on it in the last three years & also in the 1990's as an assortment of bills testify. Freshly serviced it is running beautiful with suprisingly sprightly performance for such a dinimutive machine trotting along merrily between 40 & 50 MPH. The car is finished in a jaunty shade of blue with black wings. The paint is patinated & adds to the charm of the car. The engine bay is clean, tidy & well looked after. The interior seat backs are original but the seat bases have been re-covered. Behind the seats is a useful lockable storage box under the parcel shelf. The car is equipped with a good recent convertible top. Side screens also come with the car for inclement motoring. The car sits on four wire wheels shod with new tyres & a single spare is mounted to the rear. Very period looking this car is a delight to drive with an easy to use 4 speed synchromesh gear box. At 6ft 3" tall & long of leg, I have no trouble fitting in it & driving it. The car is a 1933/1934 model but was not road registered until 1937, presumably being used on a military base prior to its first registration. The car is VSCC Dated & comes with a VSCC eligibility document. A buff log book also comes with the car. This Austin Seven is in fine running condition with a willing rebuilt engine that starts instantly & pulls surprisingly strongly. It is a delight to drive & elicits smiles wherever it goes. Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this LHD 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 For Sale. The BN6 was the final development of the Healey 100/6 two-seater roadster before being replaced by the Healey 3000 (BT7) in 1959. Chassis no BN6-L/3516 was built at MG's Abingdon works between the 30th September and 2nd October 1958 and shipped to a dealer in San Francisco on the 13th of October. After 32 years of enjoying life in the States and with 54,000 miles on the odometer, this 'Big Healey' crossed the Atlantic once again and joined the collection of a Channel Islands resident who is a long-term Healey enthusiast. He decided to carry out a 'nut and bolt' restoration with great attention to detail hoping to achieve a Concours winning standard. The six-port, cylinder head has been reconditioned and converted to unleaded compatibility with new valves, valve seats, seals etc. The block was cleaned inside and out, re-bored to +0.020 and fitted with new pistons and rings and top end bearings. The crank shaft was within 0.0005 of original so polished only and refitted with new bearings, thrust washers, big end bolts and main bearing nuts. The timing chain and tensioner have been replaced and the water pump reconditioned. All oil and waterways in the block and cylinder head were cleaned and the core plugs renewed. The rear axle and differential were dismantled, cleaned and assembled using new parts where required, and the clutch and gearbox were fully reconditioned using new parts. The steering and braking systems have been completely overhauled and new tyres fitted. All electrical components have either been overhauled or replaced with new items including a complete new braided wiring harness. A new aluminium fuel tank has been fitted along with new fuel lines and fuel pump and the carburettors have been fully reconditioned and set up appropriately. A complete, stainless steel, exhaust system and brackets were fitted. Whenever possible, the original exterior trim has been re-chromed to a very high standard with new brightwork added only when necessary. The hood and tonneau cover are new, the side screens have been reconditioned, and the windscreen glass is new. The interior was completely retrimmed to an extremely high standard and features Navy Blue leather upholstery with white piping and well-fitted carpets in Navy Blue Finally, after weeks of preparation, the Healey was carefully repainted in period Ice Blue over Old English White and the tight shut lines and depth of finish will reward any inspection. This Austin Healey is as immaculate underneath as it is on top. Since this extensive restoration to Concours standard, the car has been driven approximately 200 miles in the Jersey sunshine and any little rattles or niggles eradicated. This Austin Healey comes to us in immaculate Concours condition and is in our showroom ready for viewing. 1954 Bentley R Type Park Ward Convertible Chassis number: B3YA A rare Coachbuilt Park Ward bodied R type. This car has had an extensive mechanical restoration in the last tow years including a full engine rebuild with new pistons & a re-ground crank etc. Likewise the chassis & braking system has been completely gone though & renewed. The radiator has also been recored & the radiator shell re-chromed. Prior to restoration the car resided for many many years in Las Vegas Nevada where the dry desert climate preserved the car extremely well. The car presents beautifully in its original British Racing Green/ Sage Green colour scheme. Since its return it has had a new leather interior fitted along with new carpets. All woodwork has been removed & re-finished to a high standard. Assorted parts have been rechromed as required. The hood is of green Mohair & glides up & down at the touch of a button. The hood lining is of dark green alcantra. Under the bonnet the car is highly detailed to show standards. We expect the car to arrive with us at the end of March after some final chrome work such as the windshield surround has returned from the platers. The car featured prominently in a 1968 Inspector Clouseau film delivering Clouseu to a waiting British United Airways Vickers VC-10. ..
