John Rotella's 1964 Ford Thunderbird

My 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop is in its factory Rose Beige color with matching interior. I bought it in 2013 from the person who was charged with executing the estate of the original owner.

That original owner made large outdoor neon signs for car dealers in New York State, and my father was one of those dealers. It has the new-for-64 Safety Convenience Control Panel with vacuum door locks, low fuel light, door ajar light, and 4-way flashers.

Showing under 9500 miles it has never been more than 50 miles from the place it was originally sold. Its paint is all original and there is no body rust. I did replace the carpeting, tires, exhaust, and rear springs which had deteriorated, but this car is about as close to an "OEM" 64 Thunderbird as there is.

Everything is done to factory specs with no performance or handling modifications. I am offering it for sale and I hope it finds an owner in Australia or New Zealand, where I believe it will have the best chance of long-term survival.

Valuation: Expect to pay $30-45K for a good solid coupe, convertibles can cost twice as much.
