Back in the late 1970s, if you had some spare cash lying around and you wanted a big easy-going car that could carry a family and loads of luggage in comfort, this was a great option.

Not only was it a handsome car, but it came well-equipped. In a feature on the series, we note: "Under the sheet metal, you scored some fairly high-end mechanicals. A 351 Cleveland 2V was appointed to shift the 1800kg lump, backed by a three-speed auto and a version of the company’s famed nine-inch differential.

"You got four-wheel disc brakes all round, upgraded dampers and roll bars and variable-ratio power steering. If you ticked enough options, leather interior and electric seats were part of the fit-out."

This example is reported by the owner to be in generally good shape with up-to-date servicing. Located in Orange, NSW, it's on the market at $34,500.
