Incredible line-up of hero cars

An incredible collection of HSV hero cars is coming up for aution this week, including 2017 GTS-R build number 1 for the 2017 series, a rare Coupe 4 plus a string of GTS covering VT, VX, VY and VE.

The GTS-R is thought to have been Ryan Walkinshaw's vehicle for a time.

Back in 2017, it would have set you back $109,500 plus ORC. It claimed max power of 435kW and a torque figure of 740Nm from 6.2lt LSA V8. An auto, this example shows 21,000km on the odo.

All come with relatively modest mileages, with the GTS-R being the lowest with just 21,000km.
