John Bowe reckons this Caterham Seven 485 brings back the simple pleasures of motoring

Initially, John Bowe says he wasn't over the moon about test driving the Caterham, but his mixed first impressions quickly changed to praise when the lithe and lively 485 hit the open road. 

A fan of clubmans from his early years, JB has driven plenty of them at track days and says this Caterham is balanced, sure-footed and easy to drive.

"This is really pleasant on the road, it's also fun, makes you smile, and it doesn't encourage you to drive fast because it feels terrific when it's going slow," he says.

"I couldn't praise it enough" says JB and he even admits to being a bit tempted to buy one.
