Chrysler Restorers Club of Australia (Vic Branch)

The Chrysler Restorer’s Club covers and welcomes all models manufactured by Chrysler and its products, hence Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto, Imperial, Maxwell, Fargo, Graham Bros and of course Valiant are all represented. Our vehicle list ranges from early vintage models through to classics and modern Chryslers.

As to history, the club is currently enjoying its 40th year of operation. This one started out as a collection of enthusiasts who came together in 1975 with the aim of preserving vintage and classic Chrysler. Shortly after the club opened its doors to American muscle and Valiants. Since this time the club has grown and is now well over 530 members strong, making us the largest Chrysler specific club in the country.

Our main event is the club display day, held at Caribbean Gardens in October, where we typically have over 300 vehicles. The club also hosts (alongside the other Victorian Chrysler Clubs) a drive-in night in November which is a charity fundraiser for the Royal Childrens Hospital.

We hold monthly meetings and monthly runs, so that members can get their cars out and enjoy them. These runs are supplemented by impromptu cruises and social nights which are organised throughout the year and advertised in the club magazine and on our Facebook page.  We meet on the third Friday of every month at our clubrooms in  Nunawading (8/41 Norcal Rd) and always welcome visitors.

The best thing about this club is that it is family orientated, providing members with classic Chryslers the opportunity get out and enjoy their car. Our membership demographic is very wide and welcomes girls and guys, as long as they have an interest in Chryslers.
