Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this unique Right Hand Drive 1927/28 Graham Paige Sedan 610 For Sale. Chassis Number: 821025 Engine Number: 815799 Registration: BF 4031 (originally PL 625) This special order Right Hand Drive Graham Paige is the only one of this model in the world, built in 1927 and first registered 1928. Also fitted with Disk wheels which at the time were 15 dollars extra. This one of a kind RHD Graham Paige was first imported into the UK on June 10th 1930 by Mr Wallace, one of AlCopones right hand men, who moved to the country in 1930 and lived in surrey where the car was registered. Wallace came to this country with a view to set up a protection racket which the police soon became aware of. Wallace hurriedly but quietly returned to the United States leaving the car in a garage in Surrey where it was stored for approximately 30 years. Mr John Collard of Bracknell in Surrey acquired the car in the 1960s from a private owner in Wokingham, \surrey who told him of the previous history of the car. Graham Paiges were popular with gangsters due to their reliability, strength and getaway performance. Mr Collard was responsible for a major restoration carried out from 1965-1967. The car then changed hands until Mrs Joyce Eleanor Moss of Bracknell, Surrey acquired the car on June 3rd 1985. Mrs Joyce owned the car for 4 years and then sold the car to Mr Peter Nelson. Mr Nelson displayed the car at the Cars of the Stars Motor Museum in Keswick for the next 18 years with the colorful history displayed next to it. In 2006 this Graham Paige was sold into the trade and subsequently the original registration PL 625 was changed to the current plate BF 4031. Sold by the garage in 2007 this 610 was then bought by the current owner in 2012. The mileage shown is 26,000 and is believed to be genuine. This one off Graham Paige is in our showroom and ready for viewing, not only the car but also the extensive history file as well. .. • Auction: 30th Aug - 2nd Sep 2018 - RM Sotheby's - Auburn Fall

To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION at RM Sothebys' Auburn Fall event, 30 August - 2 September 2018. Estimate:$60,000 - $70,000 Best in Class, 2017 Concours dElegance of America at St. JohnsBest Show, 2005 Graham Owners Club NationalsVery late-production example of the famous Cord CousinThe only supercharged example in Yosemite Green and Moss Green IridescentWell-maintained restoration by Weston Restoration of Logan, Utah; recent servicing124-hp, 217.8-cu. in. supercharged inline six-cylinder engine and three-speed manual transmission The last stylish gasp of independent Detroit automaker Graham, the Hollywood used the body dies of the 19361937 Cord, with redesigned front sheet metal on a new purpose-designed chassis with Grahams own six-cylinder engine. With the optional supercharged engine, the Hollywood enjoyed the best power-to-weight ratio, 25:1, of any American car of its time, and was favored by Bill France Sr. and other early stock car racers.Unfortunately, however, the Hollywood could not saveGraham. After building 1,859 of the cars over three years, they gave up on the automobile industry and turned instead to real estate. The supercharged Hollywood Custom offered here, from the collection of an ACD Club member and Cord enthusiast, is the only surviving example finished in this striking original color scheme, Yosemite Green and Moss Green Iridescent. Restored in 2005 for marque specialist Norm Caulfield by Weston Restoration of Logan, Utah, it was judged Best in Class at the 2005 Graham Owners Club Nationals, followed by Best in Class more recently at the 2017 Concours dElegance of America at St. Johns. Its ability to consistently win major awards, a decade apart, is tribute to the well-maintained quality of the restoration, which remains stock with the exception of a Studebaker radio. The car would be an outstanding counterpoint to a Cord in its new owners collection, and is among the finest Hollywoods presently available for sale anywhere. To view this car and others currentlyconsigned to this auction, please visit the RM website at rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/AF18.
