We are delighted to offer for sale this 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 with overdrive and is very smartly presented with red bodywork and black interior. This example was supplied newin South Africa as an original right hand drive car and enjoyed by just one owner there in a warm climate until their passing. It is then thought to have been bequeathed to the niece of the original owner in Australia, where the car was exported to and then later traded for an MG. The car was acquired in Australia by the last keeper, who subsequently imported it back to England in 2014. Echoing the BMC rally cars of its era, the interior is rather smarter than that of the sparse period correct competition machines, as it features red-piped black vinyl bucket seats, red-edged black carpets and wood-rimmed alloy steering wheel. The car is complete with the bumpers (not currently fitted) and a pair of Lucas auxiliary lights, period driver's door mirror and a set of good condition chrome wire wheels. The odometer currently displays an unwarranted but possibly correct 37,166 miles. A good example of a fast-appreciating British classic, this car could if required, be further developed into a period correct classic rally car, as a valuable white factory hardtop is included in the sale. Dating from April 1960, North American Export car with its Heritage CertificateUK restoration commenced in 2015. Body and chassis fully stripped, shot blasted and powder coatedPurchased by our vendor in 2016, converted to 'fast-road' spec and the restoration completedThe lightweight bodywork is mainly aluminium, in A1 condition and very well finished in BRGDennis Welch aluminium cylinder head with roller rocker conversion. Triple 45DCOE Webers Extensive mechanical specification. 220bhp on the rolling road at Aldon Automotive The Austin Healey 3000 has become one of the best-known British classic cars of the 1950s and 1960s following spectacular success in international rallying and circuit racing. A development of the Austin Healey 100-6, itself born of the four-cylinder 100, the 3000 was launched in March 1959 and was a significant improvement on the earlier cars featuring front disc brakes, wire wheels as standard and a more powerful (124bhp) 2,912cc BMC C-Series engine, ensuring a top speedofapproximately 120mph. There was also a choice of 2 seater (BN7) or 2+2 (BT7) body styles. The new 3000 was an instant success on the road, on the track and on the rally stage and has enjoyed a large club following ever since. According to the accompanying BMI Heritage Certificate, this Austin-Healey 3000 (#BT7-L/8591) was assembled between the 1st and 4th April 1960 and dispatched to Los Angeles, California on April the 8th. It was built with left-hand drive, finished in Ivory White with black trim and 'factory-fitted' with Disc wheels, Roadspeed tyres, Laminated windscreen, Adjustable steering column, MPH Speedo, a Heater and Overdrive. It was purchased by our vendor in 2015 as a stalled restoration project, the previous owner had stripped the car and gone as far as having the chassis shot blasted and powder coated, before deciding that the project was a bit too much for him.The restoration has now been completed by our vendor who has spent tens of thousands of pounds during the process ofturningthe BT7 into one of the smartest 'Fast road' Healeys we have ever seen. Now superbly finished in British Racing Green, the body is mainly aluminium with the original Healey shrouds having been restored using traditional panel beating methods, an aluminium bonnet is fitted, as is an aluminium boot lid. The doors are aluminium skinned over the original steel frames and the wings are original. The car's specification is extensive but includes; Dennis Welch aluminium cylinder head with roller rocker conversionDennis Welch intake manifold holding triple 45DCOE Weber carburettorsDWR2 300 degree camshaft, tubular exhaust manifold with a competition silencerHigh torque starter motor, canister oil filter conversion, Mallory distributor with Lumination ignitionAlternator conversion, large-capacity water pump, bespoke aluminium radiator, electric fanRacing red key isolation switch mounted under the dash. During September 2017 the car was fully inspected by an Austin-Healey specialist for insurance valuation purposes and they concluded that the 'Body, interior and Engine were in A1 condition' and placed the 'total loss value' at £70,000.This lovely 'Big Healey' is accompanied by its Heritage Certificate, Insurance Valuation, some photographs of the restoration, and will have a fresh MOT in time for the sale.

1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mklll (Phase ll) Ice Blue over Old English White with blue leather piped white and a blue mohair hood. The Austin-Healey 3000 is a British sports car built from 1959 to 1967 and is the best known of the big Healey models. It proved to be a worthy successor to the 100-6, being highly successful on both road and track and was to be the final development of the model. The 3000 won its class in many European rallies in its heyday and is still used in competition by enthusiasts today. Its long competition history saw the 3000 compete at most major racing circuits around the world, including Sebring, Le Mans, and Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst. The 3000 Mark III was launched in October 1963 and remained in production until the end of 1967 when production of Austin-Healeys ceased. Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys, with a walnut-veneered dash, wind-up windows, and a 150bhp engine, giving a top speed of 121 mph.Improvements to the engine included a new camshaft and valve springs, and twin SU 2" HD8 carburettors, together with a new design of exhaust system. Servo-assisted brakes were now fitted as standard. The Phase ll versions had revised rear suspension which improved handling. We are very proud to offer this 1967 model, making it one of the last Healeys to be produced. It was delivered from the factory on the 15th July 1967 to North America in LHD configuration and returned to the UK in 1989 prior to being sold to the Netherlands, from whence it was purchased it in June 2017. The car was basically in great condition, having the normal Healey essential elements of a stainless-steel exhaust system, a wood-rimmed steering wheel and chrome wire wheels, but has recently been restored, including a professional conversion to RHD, a rear brake overhaul, a new brake servo, a new period wiring loom and a new tailor-made hood cover in Blue Mohair. The engine bay and chrome-work were also given thoroughattention. The Healey is fully UK-registered, starts on the button, drives exceptionally well, with the gearbox and overdrive in good condition, and is now just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Please visit our Website, find us on Facebook and like us on Instagram or just feel free to email or call us.
