Introduced to the model range by Aston Martin in 2011, the Virage and convertible version, the Virage Volante, were positioned between the DB9 and DBS models. To us, the Virage hasnt yet been fully appreciated; not only one of the best looking Gaydon Era Aston Martins, but also a model enhanced by a number of performance upgrades, making it a significantly more dynamic car to drive than its DB9 cousin. Produced for just over a year, only 369 Virage Volantes were produced at the Gaydon factory, making it one of the rarest models of that era. All Virage Volantes, including our example, were supplied with the six-speed Touchtronic 2 transmission and with Aston Martins Adaptive Damping System (ADS) and Carbon Ceramic brakes. Engine performance was uprated on the Virage model to 490bhp. The superb example we are now delighted to offer was first supplied in September 2011 and is finished in Meteorite Silver with Obsidian Black hides and a black hood. In addition to the standard, luxurious Virage specification, this particular example benefits from optional extras including uprated alarm system, Aston Martin 700w Premium Audio, black brake calipers, piano black veneers, front parking sensors, Sports seats and 20 inch 10 spoke diamond turned wheels. Used sparingly by its two former owners, this car has covered just 13,500 miles from new. Benefitting from a full Aston Martin Main agent service history and presenting in exceptional condition throughout, this Virage Volante is now ready to be enjoyed this forthcoming motoring season. We certainly cant imagine a finer model in which to complete that long awaited European tour!

80s icon with inimitable style Limited production, one of just 645 chassis produced Finished in its original colour of Dover White Supplied with an Aston Martin Heritage certificate Aston Martin performance with saloon practicality Designed by William Towns, October 1976 saw Aston Martin reveal a striking new model, a new 4 door Lagonda with innovative solid state digital instrumentation, a futuristic concept at the time. Lagonda created a wave of publicity for the company and the order book filled rapidly, particularly from the Middle East market. The Lagondas engine and chassis bowed to Aston Martin tradition, but the rest was pure sex appeal. There was nothing else like it in a luxury sedan. It was just an inch shorter than the Mercedes-Benz 450SEL, yet it was over 5 inches lower. Industrial designer William Towns (who styled the Aston Martin DBS in the mid-sixties) was responsible for the sensuous and futuristic wedge shape while Chief Engineer Mike Loasby is credited with its electrically-selected three-speed automatic transmission, pop-up quad halogen headlamps, and the dashboard with digital read-out instruments. DD Classics is proud to offer this 80s icon for sale, finished in its striking original colour of Dover White as stated on the Aston Martin heritage certificate that accompanies the car. Inside, the Lagonda is staggeringly opulent, the Red Connolly hide is enhanced with contrasting White piping. Both the top-roll and gearbox facia tunnel use the same Red Connolly hide and the luxurious Wilton carpets are finished in the same style, Red with White piping. Beautiful Walnut veneer trims complete the interior furnishings. Our car is in superb condition throughout and must be seen to be fully appreciated. A total of 645 chassis were built before the end of production in 1989 and each car required 2,200 man-hours to build. The quality of craftsmanship which goes into any Aston Martin product is a throw-back to an age when only the best was good enough. Today, theAston Martin Lagonda continues to make quite a statement about its owner. In this case, it is one of English elegance with modern performance and utter uniqueness. Now available for viewing at the DD Classics Dealership in London, please call to book an appointment. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the above information but errors may occur. Background:; Following the success of the Limited Edition V8 Coupe, the new 'Vantage' style V8 Coupe was introduced on the 5th of March 1996, at the Geneva Motor Show, alongside the DB7 Volante. Whereas all ten of the Limited Edition V8 Coupes shared many external features with the preceding Virage, the new V8 Coupe reflects the overall design themes and the smooth flowing aerodynamic lines of the Vantage, as was the case with most of the suspension system. However, it has its own distinctive design radiator intake, six spoke 18' x 8.5' alloy road wheels, and circular auxiliary driving lamps integrated within the front spoiler. Special compound 255 / 50 ZR18 Pirelli P Zero tyres were developed for the new model. The quad cam engine has 4 valves per cylinder, (last used by Aston Martin in 1921-2) and produces 350 horsepower. This was a further development of the now legendary Tadek Marek designed all alloy V8, with its racing pedigree. Improved cylinder heads, camshafts and pistons were fitted, together with an 'Alpha Plus' electronically controlled engine management system. According to Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., the new V8 Coupe could reach 60 M.P.H. in less than 6.0 seconds and has a maximum speed in excess of 150 m.p.h. Naturally with the use of a three way catalytic exhaust system, the engine runs on unleaded fuel. However, for countries where leaded petrol is still the norm, a non-catalyst system was available. In effect, it is a 'worldwide' engine compatible for all markets. The 4-speed automatic transmission is electronically controlled with Sport and Touring modes. Anti-lock AP / PBR brakes are fitted to all four wheels, with ventilated discs and four pot callipers. With a servo-assisted tandem master cylinder, the brakes are independent front and rear, controlled by a Bosch 4 channel ABS system. The power assisted rack and pinion steering is speed sensitive. The rear axle is fitted with a limited slip differential. All body panels are hand crafted in aluminium. Requiring tenConnolly hides each luxurious interior could be tailored to individual tastes. Burr Walnut is used for the facia panel, centre console and door cappings, and Wilton carpet for the floor covering. There are a minimum of twelve separate coats of paint applied to each complete body. There is power assistance for the adjustment of the driver and front passenger seats. A sophisticated climate control system is provided together with a stereo, radio, cassette and CD player. For the final touch of luxury, cruise control is fitted for long distance touring. Summary:; Over the past 2/3 years, the market has come to recognize the value of the classic V8 Coupe. Some of the last hand-built Aston Martins from their traditional home at Newport Pagnell - they are identified as landmark cars. In conversation with a previous Registrar of the AMOC, the current owner discovered that the paint finish on the car, Montrose Blue, was a unique choice - the only car produced in that colour - add an appropriate number platethat stays with the car and you have a very special car. But the real reason this car will be chosen by its next owner is its outstanding condition, its history and the pleasure derived behind the wheel - a useable and beautiful classic Aston Martin. Vehicle History; One of the very last of the hand-built Aston Martins, this lovely car was registered first by Grange Aston Martin as a demonstrator on 29th September 1999 and remained in their care until August of the following year when it was transferred to the appropriately named Peter James Bond!; He owned the car for two years before selling it to Jonathan Durden who owned the car for just over a year before it was registered in the name of dealer, Lancaster Cars who then sold the car in September 2004 to the current owner. A businessman with offices in London and New York, the car has divided its time between the owner's London home and a discreet storage facility in Hampshire while the owner is the other side of the Atlantic - this wouldaccount for the fact that although it has been the owner's main car, the mileage total remains modest. But modest mileages have not stopped the regular maintenance of the car and, as a result she presents beautifully and drives perfectly. It is perhaps a mark of that excellence that returning to his car outside his apartment in London, the owner found a postcard on the screen. It was from John Heffernan who with Ken Greenley designed the car for Aston Martin alongside the contemporary Bentley Continental - he remarked on how nice it was to see one of 'his' cars being used.

This is an iconic model of Aston Martin synonymous with James Bond. This model was also used in the TV series The Persuaders, featuring Roger Moore. The values of Aston Martin DB5s and DB6s are reaching astronomical levels and we feel that the V8 version represents particularly good value in a rising market.01202 709407 OR 07785500990

The 2001 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish was a much-needed leap forward for Aston Martin under Ford Ownership, it replaced the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage as the flagship and at the time, a design and engineering marvel by the Newport Pagnell factory. Designed by famed British designer Ian Callum and of course James Bonds choice of transportation for Die Another Day in 2002. The V12 Vanquish was the gentlemans choice of a grand tourer and available in both 2+0 or 2+2 layout. The V12 Vanquishs construction featured a tub made of aluminium and carbon fibre, as well as composite and more carbon fibre incorporated in the crash structure. From an engineering perspective this was far ahead of what was available in mass produced Ferraris. The 5.9 Litre V12 powerhouse produced 460 hp with 540 nm of torque, allowing a top speed of 190 mph and 0-60 mph time of 5 seconds flat. The drivetrain consisted of a six speed electrohydraulic manual transmission controlled by paddles on the steering wheel. Stopping not being a problem thanks to the 355 mm drilled and ventilated Brembo discs with four pot calipers and ABS as standard. The cabin of the V12 Vanquish comes trimmed in luscious leather and alcantara for the headliner to stress the Hand Built nature of the motorcar. it is a very poised grand tourer, suitable for continent cruising, as well as day to day requirements. The noise being its piece de resistance, best described as a roar. The V12 Vanquish demands respect everywhere it goes and has a road presence that will not be forgotten as it ages gracefully. We are proud to offer this 2001 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish in Skye Silver over Charcoal Black Leather, delivered new in November of 2001 by Stratstone of Wilmslow to its first owner. By 2003, the motorcar changes hands with 6000 miles to the next custodian, who covers 14,000 miles and sells it to the current custodian with 21,300 miles in 2015. Since acquiring the motorcar, the current custodian, a car collector has covered just over 700 miles in two and a half years. Important to note, the front subframe has been replaced in 2014 by Aston Martin, as this component is notorious for corrosion on the V12 Vanquish platform and comes at a hefty price. Now showing 22,000 miles, this motorcar has been very well cared for with a full Aston Martin service history and its last service being only 9 months ago by Heritage Chiltern Aston Centre. It is ready to be enjoyed for the summer and an investment grade motorcar with less than 1500 produced.
