RetroMarques Ltd is pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner: 1961 Austin-Healey 3000 MkII tri-carb HSK 219 RetroMarques is pleased to offer a 2nd, rare, tri-carb Big Healey for sale. Originally exported to Gibraltar (ordered by a serviceman one assumes) and then the USA, this car was imported in 1991. Unusually, this Healey has extensive history from its time in the USA with a hand-written logbook detailing fuel, work and so on and appears only to have had 2 owners before importation in 1991. With the 2nd UK owner since 1994, HSK has been professionally restored by ourselves to the customers requirements and is now presented for sale. The rebuild is fully documented with all invoices and a complete photo record. Production details (Heritage Certificate): Chassis No: HBT7-L/16329 Engine No: 29E-RU-H/2768 Paint: Colorado Red Trim: Red/black Built: 17-20 November 1960 Despatched: 12 December 1961 to Gibraltar Equipment: overdrive, wire wheels, MPH speedo, heater Mileage: 89,436 (believed to be original) MoT test: valid to July 2019 A restoration was started some years ago, then put aside until the Healey was recovered to us in Autumn 2017. Initial assessment concluded that there was merit in stripping panels and blasting so as to start with a clean, corrosion-free chassis and bodywork panels. That done, preparation was carried out prior to paintwork and polishing and then building back up. The engine was checked and partially rebuilt, needing no more, the gearbox and overdrive overhauled and then all refitted. A new wiring loom laid in, instruments, dash and ancillaries fitted, cockpit trimmed and brightwork fitted before starting, tuning and some shakedown running. A precautionary MoT test was carried out as an independent check of roadworthiness. All weather equipment is present hood, side-screens and, unusually, an original factory hardtop (in original condition). The MkII tri-carb is one of the rarest of all Big Healeys and were pleased to offer a choice of two at differing condition and price-points; a useful comparison before choosing whats right for you! RetroMarques Ltd is pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner: 1960 Lancia Appia S3 Berlina 841 XVA A nice original Italian LHD Appia Serie 3 Berlina (Saloon). Striking in light blue metallic and matching light grey upholstery and as we believe on an incredibly low mileage. She is UK registered and has had service work carried out on her so as to ensure a nice drive. This is not a show car but rather a classic Italian Berlina to enjoy driving and - given the rarity - a car which will draw much attention wherever she goes, not least with the clap hands doors! Details/spec: LHD, ex-Italy car (ACI form on file) First reg: 17 March 1960 (UK reg 1 Apr 2018) Chassis No: 8080761982 Mileage: 57,030 km MoT test: valid to 11 April 2019 History file: Italian ACI Registration document Invoices for parts & service work since being in the UK, including new Michelin X tyres all round MoT certificates DVLA registration numberplate/authority Original Lancia Appia sales brochure (Lancia London) Factory workshop manual Various technical and other relevant articles/magazines etc Imported into the UK, and still carrying its Italian ACI stickers, this Appia remains a very original Italian LHD Series 3 Saloon/Berlina. The light blue metallic blue paint is striking and certainly suits the car, but on close inspection is not to a high standard. Do note though that the car does appear corrosion-free. The interior remains nicely original with a nice degree of patina and other than perhaps some detailing needs nothing, indeed it would be a shame to lose the originality and age present. Helpfully, there is a factory workshop manual, a lovely period Lancia London Appia brochure and other documents. The owner also has an extensive spares package which would usefully accompany the car and is available by separate negotiation. In summary, a practical, 4-door saloon which is stylish yet affordable with scope for further improvement. The Appia features the clap-hands pillarless door design and is surprisingly roomy inside. The column shift is easy to use and she drives nicely, rather more briskly than one might think for the 1090cc engine, and pulls up well. Frankly chalk and cheese when compared to a British classic saloon of the same era! £7500 ovno Please contact Mark Knight on 07791 417256 or Mark@retromarques.co.uk for further information or images and to arrange a viewing (by appointment only please).

RetroMarques Ltd is pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner: EYR 48J, 1971 MGB Roadster in fast-road/rally spec and Heritage bodyshell An opportunity to acquire a Heritage shelled MGB which has been built-up for long-distance touring and regularity rallying. EYR has seen significant investment and been prepared by a very experienced and successful driver/navigator team to be event-ready. Peter Burgess built Stage 2 engine, many mechanical upgrades, Brantz tripmeter, power ports and decent seating and harnesses are just some of the upgrades already in place and essentially ALL mechanical items have been either replaced or rebuilt. In short, if you seek an affordable entry to the regularity world or are planning some long-distance touring, then this is a serious proposition. Details: Chassis No: DVLA SWA 3971825302 (see notes below, prev GHD5/239688G)) Eng No: 18GG WE H/23085 Specification: Engine: 1860cc, Stage 2 cyl head, Piper Ultimate Road cam, 10:2 CR, flat-plane crank, stainless exhaust (100+ bhp, 111 ft lb torque) Standard 4-speed + OD gearbox (rebuilt), new clutch, axle/diff stripped and rebuilt Replacement springs with rear shocker conversion, fully overhauled/renewed brake system New steering rack Revington electric fans x2 & controller Spin-on oil filter conversion and oil cooler with thermostatic control Twin fuel pumps (switchable from dash) and regulator/filter unit Aldon Automotive distributor, twin-coil fit, rolling road tuned Single 12v neg earth battery, cockpit isolator switch Minator alloy wheels New windscreen, new hood, Moto-Lita steering wheel Rally prep: MX5 seats and 4-point harnesses Fire extinguisher (2-litre, behind drivers seat) Brantz tripmeter (behind lift-up panel for security) USB power points below dash Additional lighting/switches (bespoke dash centre switch panel) Segmented boot with storage bins EYR was originally an MGB GT and then converted to roadster spec utilising a new Heritage shell (hence chassis ID change). This took place in 1998 and the car was then not fully finished until the following owner began a comprehensive rebuild programme during the period 2013-15, effectively starting again with a full mechanical strip to the shell and then building back up to his own spec. The result is that nothing has had more use or wear than circa 10k miles since! As the figures suggest, EYR is very strong on the road and yet quite happy at lower speeds and driving gently not at all cammy! Overall the car feels really tight and testament to the fact that it has had barely 10k miles since the rebuild and is really well sorted electrically, hydraulically and mechanically. The cockpit is both comfortable yet functional given the later, leather seats and rally harnesses and rally setup switches, powerpoints and Brantz trip. A drive-away touring/rally prepped MGB and very sensibly priced given the Heritage shell and performance/rally improvements incorporated; not a cheap project to undertake or replicate! £13,500 ovno Please contact Mark at RetroMarques Ltd for further information or to arrange a viewing (by appointment only please): 07791 417256 or Mark@retromarques.co.uk

RetroMarques is pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner MVU 773G, a rare Aston Martin DBS Vantage in RHD, Manual, PAS specification An opportunity to own a rare Vantage specification Aston Martin DBS and a matching numbers car. An original home-market, right hand drive car and fitted with the desirable manual gearbox and PAS from new. Looking stunning in the Goodwood Green paintwork set off by the wire wheels and spinners. The subject of a full, bare-metal respray some 15 months ago she has just been treated to a fully documented engine rebuild and is now being run-in. Details: Chassis No: DBS/5304/R Eng No: 400/4030/SVC ZF Manual gearbox Power assisted steering Webasto sunroof, Fiamm Horns, Radiomobile radio First reg: 4 March 1969 Present owner since 08/2000 (3rd owner) Mileage: 88,665 MoT test: valid to 16 Sept 2019 MVU comes from long-term classic car enthusiast ownership and only now available as the owner has sadly passed away. The paintwork was looking tired yet the bodywork was in surprisingly good condition and on stripping the paintwork, there were only 2 very small areas which needed repairing. She was then prepared and painted again in the correct Goodwood Green. Subsequently, investigation into poor running revealed low compression and the decision was taken to carry out a full engine strip and rebuild (detailed invoicing), including servicing the triple Webers, and with that now completed, engine and ancillaries re-fitted and tuned and on a fresh MoT she is roadworthy again and being run-in. The interior has cleaned up well and has a nice degree of originality/patina. The black leather looks just right rather than too new and lacking any sense of age or use. Some smaller areas of carpeting might still be improved but very much dependent upon your view/desire for appearance. The DBS is an imposing sports car and has real presence, not least in this attractive quite dark green paint which is set off nicely by the brightwork (good/very good), wire wheels and chrome spinners. MVU starts easily, pulls away cleanly and feels strong on the road, even whilst being driven quite gently during the running-in period. The big leather seats provide for a comfortable drive and shes very responsive on the road the size and weight of the car are not nearly as obvious as one might expect. In summary, an opportunity to purchase a rare Manual, Vantage spec, matching numbers DBS with PAS. With the fully documented paintwork and engine rebuild already carried out, there is much to commend her. A good history file (including the original Aston Martin delivery and early service documents) and low owners only add to a very appealing package.
