Break out the polish

Hot off the heels of Pebble Beach in the USA, the Gosford Classic Car Museum in West Gosford, NSW, is hosting their own Concourse d’Elegance, this Saturday, September 2.

The event is going to have some simply awesome cars on display, and Gosford will be submitting four cars from their collection to be judged.

These vehicles include a Lancia Astura, an Austin Healey 100/4, a Ferrati 365 GTC/4 and a gorgeous Jaguar E-Type.

All cars at the event will go under the magnifying glass from the best judges in the concourse business, as no less than six judges will be flying in from Pebble Beach to scrutinise the rare metal.

Gosford Classic Car Museum curator Ken Grindrod says the event is a great opportunity for car fans to come along and see what a concourse actually looks like and how it runs.

"Australia has a great car enthusiast community and some of the best concourse cars in the world belong to private collectors and museums alike down under,"

"So Australia definitely needs more Concourses, and our event is a great way for enthusiasts to come on down, have a look around and have a chat to the judges to see what they’re looking for in a concourse car."

It’s all set to kick off at Gosford Classic Car Museum, 3-13 Stockyard Place, West Gosford, from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
