Meet our happy Sydney owner, the winner of our VK Brock tribute car

Winner of our VK Brock tribute

Meet Allan Elcham (at left above, with our own Uncle Phil and Tony from Shannons Insurance) of Sydney, the proud new owner of Project VK, our hand-built Brock Commodore tribute.

Allan had been following the build and was putting away money to buy a unique car of his own, when Uncle Phil rang with the good news. Young Allan was over the moon with the news and was waiting out on the footpath as Phil drove up the street with his new toy.

"I'm stoked," he said, "Have never won anything. Even though I've been reading all about it and putting in entries, it's even better than I expected."

Shannons added the icing to the cake, with Tony handing over a certificate of insurance on the day.

We think the car has gone to a good home. Phil reports that he could see Allan out there with the polishing cloth, in the rearview mirror of his taxi as he pulled away.
