Toranas in race guise are iconic and anything with flares and a V8 can make big money.

Genuine V8 sedans bring around $20,000 less than a two-door with the same motor and that gulf is growing, so be diligent when checking authenticity and don’t pay excessive amounts for a conversion.

Six-cylinder sedans and hatchbacks are half the price of V8s in similar condition, but still offer potential for appreciation. Up as well are the earlier LC-LJ Series and especially two-door manual cars with the potential to become GTR clones.

Even early four-cylinder models are enjoying significant gains in a market where any Torana is desirable.
