2022 Market Review - Honda Integra/Prelude/Accord 1976-2006

For people who can’t justify owning one vehicle for recreation and another for regular driving, here are some Hondas that fulfil both roles.

Look back to the 1970s and for less than $10,000 you find the very usable Accord Hatch, with five gears and a plush cloth interior. Or perhaps a late-1980s Prelude Si with elegant looks and still priced below $10,000.

Later VTi-R Preludes are effectively two-seaters but deliver good performance and again cost less than $10,000. Select an Integra and your choices range from the near-vintage GSi to the 147kW Type R. Early Integras in good condition cost less than $10,000 but the Type R can vary significantly depending on age and even colour. Find an excellent 1.8-litre version in yellow and $45,000 is possible.
