2022 Market Review - Subaru WRX/STI/Forester 1994-2010

People who have patiently maintained early WRXs seem to have chosen now as the time to sell and the market is flooded with excellent cars. Some of course aren’t excellent but still carry stupendous prices. Pay $30-35,000 for an outstanding 1994-2001 model.

If you want something more exclusive but also more expensive, then comes a clatter of 1990s WRX STIs.

| Buyer's Guide: Subaru WRX 1994-1998

These once were hard to find and in outstanding order should still get near $100K, but some have been offered at $60,000 more than they are really worth. Later versions of the STi are scarce as well, but generally priced more reasonably.

Basic WRXs built from 2002 until 2010 haven’t moved much and remain available in decent numbers at around $20,000. Then if you want a rocket that can handle some rough stuff and have $30,000+, consider an STI-tuned version of the Forester.

WRX 1994-1997 $22,080 (6)

WRX 1998-2001 $27,200 (38)

WRX 2001-2006 $19,840 (27)

WRX 2007-2010 $22,445 (28)

Forester STI $37,035 (5)
