Holden’s successful VK Commodore design was turned into a highly sought after track weapon, thanks to Peter Brock’s HDT operation in Melbourne. The ‘Blue Meanie’ is arguably Brock’s best road car.
Joe D’Anquino, the owner of our featured Group A SS, said, “It’s still in the original state. I didn’t expect it to be worth what it is now, but the value of its really not that important, it’s more the enjoyment that I get out of it.”
Joe says he takes his car to the shops and to work, a well as car club track events and shows, and adds, “this one stays…forever!”
