It’s time for our annual muscle car bible bumper edition!
A new year means it’s time for Unique Car’s annual mega Muscle Car Value Guide special issue!
We’ve got pages of the most up-to-date Oz & US Muscle Car value guides and buyers’ guides – giving you readers the tools and knowledge regarding what these performance dream machines are worth in 2020.
Our cover features come courtesy of three incredibly special home-grown XA Falcons. The first is one-of-three Rothmans Blue promo cars form the 70s, owned by Sal since he was just 19 (aged 47 now).
The two others need less of an introduction, as we look back on our inaugural Rolling 30 event in Sydney that brought together two GT-HO Phase IV Falcons, Paul T’s infamous road car and Paul C’s red racer.

Following our massive Muscle Car Guides, we sit down with Kerry Manolas – one of Australia’s most unique car collectors. He owns one of the two 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 coupes in the country, and at age 81 added Maranello’s most recent and most powerful front-engined counterpart; the 812 Superfast. A small matter is that he is no longer able to drive. Today Manolas regularly has his nurse assist him downstairs to study, admire and reflect on over 40 years of collecting and motor racing some of the world’s most desirable cars.
This month’s Reader’s Resto comes from Richard Zvirbulis, and his grandfather’s beautiful 1972 Holden Statesman. It was a labour of love and truly a family affair for the Statesman-crazed pack. Voting also continues for our annual Reader Resto of the Year competition, so be sure to cast your vote and you could take home a $500 Visa Gift Card!
Our latest ‘Our Shed’ update sees GT join a growing number of classic fourbies on the road and out there on trails. We’re sure you’ve heard the story before: over a beer at the pub, a mate whips out his phone and says something along the lines of ‘look what I for sale’. In this case, it was two early Mitsubishi Pajeros – one, a rusty basket-case with a good motor; and the other with a neat body, but a blown motor. You can guess what happened next…
