Shed-built dream Falcon, a family Torana with a hidden story + more!

Tributes, replicas, mock-ups… whatever you like to call them, have long been a divisive subject within classic car circles – but there’s no escaping that some of our most fantasized dream cars are long beyond reach.

Our next features takes a close look at a family gem; an LX Torana which was purchased by the family’s eldest son Peter as his first car. Further back, we have another tribute – but not the Aussie hero car you might think. This one comes courtesy of retired NSW policeman Terry, who pieced together his Landcruiser into an exacting replica of the Police Rescue Truck he used to drive about in for work.
