2021 Market Review Triumph Sports 1954-1981
TR-prefix models made steady gains during recent times, only to be overshadowed by the Spitfire and its 50 percent increase since 2018. This growth, it must be said, is not evident in markets outside Australia but does reflect improving awareness of the model.
Several excellent TRs have sold above and around $50,000 and a scarce TR5 PI made more than $70,000. Overseas, the benchmark for TR6 PI sales was pushed past A$100,000, however it is unlikely that local cars will get close to that figure. One notable absentee was the hatchback GT6 which in excellent order will make $35,000.

The later, wedge-shaped TR7 is making plausible gains, but none of the 3.5-litre TR8 were seen.
