2022 Market Review - Toyota Supra 1983-2000
When Toyota during 2019 launched its first new Supra in over 15 years the market ignited. Since then, RZ coupes have more than doubled in price, here and in Japan.
Over there, late-1990s RZs come off the auction floor at A$70-80,000 then have freight, import taxes and other charges added. Little wonder some local vendors are seeking $120-150,000. SZ versions without a turbo still produce 162kW and in decent condition remain at $50-65,000.

Not so the SZ Aerotop, with its removable roof section, which are scarce and in HUGE demand, with one advertised at more than $200,000. Earlier Supras have also done well, with 2.8-litre cars now above $20,000 and later MA70 versions stunning the market when Turbo versions surged past $35,000.
