1972 Holden Torana LJ XU-1 coupe

Fully restored in the early 1990s this XU-1 has only had two owners in the last 30 years with the odometer currently reading 8400km.

Close up this car looks fantastic in The Lone O Ranger paint work with correct blackouts and classic Sprintmaster wheels while out on the road it turns heads wherever it goes.

The trusty 202ci six-banger features triple Stromberg  carbs with M21 four-speed gearbox and 3.36 LSD diff with tags. The engine block is non-original but is the correct ‘JP’ type for the car.

All authenticity paperwork is provided and verifies this is a genuine XU-1 Torana.

1972 Holden HQ sedan

This 1972 HQ underwent a cost-no-object restoration and modification four years ago and has taken trophies at every show it has entered since, as well as being featured in Street Machine magazine.

Powered by a 350ci small block topped by a Holley 4-barrel carburettor with T350 trans and 10-bolt Salisbury rear end, the combo sends circa 500hp to the rear 275/30ZR20 tyres.

Image Trimming worked its magic on the interior with VT-VX-era seats, dash and other components used in the build all finished in high-quality red leather and suede.

Details again are the winner in this car with LED interior lights and red suede headlining making this the classiest HQ ever.

The owner isn’t keen on selling but has another project lined up already and wants the car to go to another enthusiast.

1977 Holden Torana LX A9X sedan

The gold star atop the Lloyds Christmas tree this year is this fully documented and authenticated, matching numbers A9X Torana.

One of only two A9X Toranas in Dynasty Gold (paint code: 567-30527) and the only one with a brown interior (trim code: 1936-67V), this car has only travelled 2500km since being fully restored in 1992.

Ex-HDT and Perkins engineer Neil Burns rebuilt the 308ci L31 engine while Ray Miles from Thomastown, Victoria completed the bodywork to a show standard.

All documentation and receipts from the restoration are included in the sale right down to the specs Neil Burns noted during the engine rebuild.

There is a huge variety of cars on offer, to suit most budgets – well worth a look. Online bidding has already started.
