British company Talos, with a background in defence special operations vehicles and motorsport, has launched the XXT Grand Tourer based on a Ferrari 599.
The XXT has been re-engineered into a modern coachbuilt grand tourer that combines the aggression of Ferrari’s 599XX racecar with the everyday useability of a grand tourer.
With a price tag of approximately AUD$1.9 million production is limited to five customisable units worldwide, offering owners an opportunity to spec and own a car which reflects their own individuality.
While being touted as a GT its performance figures are more supercar with zero to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h thanks to its 674 horsepower six-litre V12 engine.
The XXT starts life as a donor Ferrari 599 GTB, and as such is available in both left and right-hand drive variants together with bespoke options including custom engine upgrades.
Jamie Thwaites, managing director at Talos Vehicles, said: “After more than two years in the making, our passionate and highly skilled team has taken the soul of the racing car and combined that aesthetic with added performance and everyday practicality.
Bespoke options include paint, interior trim, carbon in matt or gloss finish and manual gearbox, while optional upgrades are available for engine modifications, the drivetrain, the exhaust, roll cage and in car entertainment.
Jamie added: “Talos Vehicles is incredibly proud of the XXT, a rare masterpiece destined to appreciate with time and exclusivity.”
