1. Supply van
Back in the 1960s Norm Beechey, Jim McKeown and Peter Manton raced their touring cars under the Neptune Racing Team Banner with all three cars featuring the then familiar trident logo. Fast forward to the 1970s and Holden decided the world needed a souped up panel van. Here’s a chance to reminisce with this 1:24 scale, beautifully detailed Neptune Fuel Holden HJ Panel Van 308. The attention to detail is stunning; the doors, bonnet and even the tailgate all open.

3. Seventies style
There are things about the seventies many of us would much rather forget. Some of the fashions (flared jeans spring to mind) are pretty high on that list. However, what we do miss is the bright garish colours and some of the sheer flamboyance of the cars and clothes of the period. Here’s a good example of the stuff we want to keep: A classic mash-up of the Torana ‘when you’re hot’ campaign with a Brock race car.
It’s produced by HDT and costs $35, from hdt.com.au
4. Mini chain
Irish race and rally legend Paddy Hopkirk is synonymous with the Mini Cooper S. In 1964 he won the Monte Carlo Rally in one, and later that same year, flew to Australia to drive for the Mini Works Team. Here’s your chance to show your love for this iconic car and star driver. These metal key chains are in the style, and red and white hues, of the Monte Carlo rally logo, with Paddy Hopkirk and his number 37 on there too. The key chain is Australian made so ordering and postage should be fast as the Cooper S itself.
