2021 Market Review - Sunbeam 1958-1967
Looking to the world market for guidance on Alpine values revealed nothing resembling the surge being experienced locally. Just five years ago, very good late-series Alpines with the same 1725cc engine as Hillman’s Hunter would cost $20-25,000 and nothing has happened to justify a doubling in value.

The version that has been climbing rapidly and conferring some popularity on older Alpines is the V8-engined Tiger. Survivors are predominantly LHD cars sold initially into the US market where Series 1s average A$100,000 and top-class cars reach $150K.
