Years ago I was an apprentice mechanic and a workmate had one. We had the occasional crazy trip in one and that brought on a love for them. I was targeting this model, the series 2, and ended up buying this one from a friend.

Brock was a hero when I was a kid and I became aware of these about then.

The rumble, the attention they attract, they all appeal. I’ve put a few tweaks of my own into this one, such as a 355 stroker and a five-speed transmission out of a Walkinshaw.

But any parts I’ve taken out I’ve kept.

If you look closely, you’ll see a few special little stickers I’ve had made for it. Like the wheel centres have Brock signatures rather than a maker’s logo.
