1986 FORD SIERRA COSWORTH RS TRIBUTE
Wanna turn heads at the next cars and coffee event? This tribute will do it. It’s a nod to the Texaco-sponsored Eggenberger Motorsport Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, finished in full race livery. Under the bonnet sits a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four developing around 152kW and sending it to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. It was at our last Rolling 30 event at Sydney Motorsport Park. It had six owners before being imported here in December 1995 and has been with the seller for two years and has 103,300 miles from new on the clock.

This Australian delivered example in Horizon Blue with red leather interior was acquired by the vendor in 1972. 1969 PORSCHE 917K
Auction day is Saturday, January 18, 2025, when one of the most famous race cars to hit the track and silver screen will go under the hammer. It’s a Porsche 917K and this one was bought new by Steve McQueen, who starred in the famous movie Le Mans. It is powered by a 180-degree 4.5lt V12 engine with a four-speed manual. Given its provenance it’s impossible to put an estimate on it. McQueen’s Bullitt Mustang fetched a cool US$3.4 million at auction and the last Porsche 917K sold for US$14.080 million. Adding further to its pedigree is the vendor, comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
