Bookings now open for the Silver Anniversary Beach Hop NZ Aussie Invasion Tour!
After drawing record attendance numbers at the New Zealand 2024 Repco Beach Hop car, bike and rock ‘n’ roll festival, organisers of the 025 Silver Anniversary Beach Hop Aussie Invasion have announced that they are now accepting deposits to secure spots!
The tour will cover 14 days, departing from Aukland on March 24 next year.
Tour promoter Chris Beattie says they have been in negotiation with a number of operation in NZ, ensuring they have the optimum package in place for guests.
“We want to ensure that our tour guests get maximum bang for their buck in terms of fun and exclusive tour features, so we’re now ready to accept deposits and welcome our group members for what promises to be an amazing and captivating experience for everyone,” Chris says.
“Beach Hop founder and promotor, Noddy Watts, and his hard-working crew have been incredibly helpful as far as the various details of our tour go and we’re excited to be able to offer some exceptional special features for our tour members.
“We also hope to announce that another related event, the NZ Nostalgia Drag Racing Nationals, will be run within a few days of Repco Beach Hop, in which case guests might want to extend their stays to include this great and very popular event, which is also run not too far from Auckland.”
As camping and campervan sites are extremely limited in certain areas, organisers urge anyone coming along to book as soon as possible.
Typically, the sites are booked out as soon as they are released in mid-May so we will need to hear from our tour guests asap so they don’t miss out on getting a great spot right in the heart of the action.
Tour organisers have also concluded arrangements with one of NZ’s largest and most reputable and reliable campervan providers, which offers a range of vehicles to suit all tastes and budgets.
Tour guests will be able to book their own vehicles, checking out options and pricing and including specifying pick-up and drop-off dates, via a secure dedicated link that will be provided to all guests once they have confirmed their deposits. Campervan booking deposits should be made directly to the campervan hire firms via the links provided.
Apart from the campervan hire, the total tour cost for the 2025 Silver Anniversary Beach Hop Aussie Invasion will be $1250.00 per person (Australian), which includes two nights’ hotel accommodation near the airport in Auckland, a special welcoming reception on the first night with our Official Tour Ambassador in attendance, and five nights at the Beach Hop campground, which is situated near all the hotels, restaurants and major special events being run during the festival. Also included will be some special ‘surprise’ activities that we’ll be announcing soon.
To ensure places on the tour, they require an initial deposit of $650 per person, and the deposits will be refundable, subject to refunds being requested no later than August 31, 2024. The refunds will be minus the camping site booking fee of $125. Ideally deposits should be confirmed by no later than May 14, 2024, although they will be accepting deposits after that date, subject to site availability at the festival.
Tour guests should note that while they don’t anticipate any changes to tour costs, they reserve the right to alter pricing and will provide written notice to tour guests should price revisions be implemented.
