Some cars need no introduction and the Jaguar E-Type is no exception. The Series II Jaguar E-Types that were produced from 1969 to 1971 can be identified by their open headlights, no longer with glass covers, a wrap-around rear bumper with the tail lights now underneath, and the front indicators were larger and similarly repositioned below the slightly heavier front bumpers. The cooling was much improved helped by the enlarged 'mouth'. Series II cars also feature twin electric fans and uprated brakes. The engine is easily identified visually by the change from smoothly polished cam covers to a ribbed appearance and for US-spec cars, twin Stromberg carburettors were used. The interior and dashboard were also redesigned, with flick switches being substituted by rocker switches to meet U.S regulations. This particular car has been fully maintained for its whole life and the car's history file documents all the relevant details including its earlier custodians. It appears to have been extensivelyrestored by Barretts Jaguar of Kent in 1987 and there is a photographic record in the file. Our vendor was aided in his search for the best SeriesII he could find by Ken Bell. ex-Coombes Jaguar, a respected authority on all things Jaguar. The odometer currently indicates just over 95,000 miles and this, matching numbers, Series II looks superb finished in Signal Red with a Black interior. The wire wheel spokes have been upgraded to stainless steel and the cleverly modified stereo system incorporates Satellite Navigation, however, the car is essentially honest and still guided by its original steering wheel, a rare find these days.BYF 100H is a fairly high-profile E-Type and has featured at many events, including being one of the cars selected to appear in the Guinness World Record Display collection of E-Types at Regent Street Motor Show in 2011 to celebrate fifty years since the E-Type was launched. It was also seen at the St.James Concours d'Elegance in 2013 and at Hampton Court in2014.Additionally, this car was chosen by Boris Johnson, when he was Mayor of London, to take part in the convoy celebrating the opening of the Piccadilly and St. James two-way system, and appeared on BBC and ITV looking splendid.Freshly MoT'd and ready for inspection, there can't be a more quintessentially British classic than a bright red E-Type. .

1970 Porsche 911 2.2T Coupe Introduced at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show the basic Porsche 911 design would run virtually unchanged for twenty-nine years. Ferdinand Porsche had been working on the design since the late fifties as a better performing replacement for the 356. 911s today are still reminiscent of the iconic design. The Porsche 911 quickly became successful in competitive motorsport and history records it as one of the most successful campaigners of all time. From the 24 Hours of Le Mans, to grass-root motorsport, the 911 offered reliable performance in many guises.  For 1970, the C-Series 911 was introduced with a larger bore to give a capacity of 2165cc, producing 125bhp and now badged as a "T". Alterations to suspension points improved the handling and feel to the steering. Offered for sale is this US specification 911T originally supplied into San Francisco on 01.07.1970. The car is finished in the classic colour combination of Silver metallic (colour code: 8080) with black interior. The car remained in the US until 2014 when a buyer from the UK commissioned classic car restorer, Troy Lundquist, to carry out an extensive restoration of the cars body, leaving a top end engine rebuild to be carried out by US based Porsche specialist PMB Performance. The car then made its way over onto UK shores and was registered in September of 2014. Upon arrival to the UK, it became apparent that the car sustained damage in the container during transit from the US. The car then underwent a full, bare metal respray to a very high standard by 911 Triple R ltd in Wembley to put it back to its concours standard from when it left the US. It was then enjoyed for several years by its current keeper who then got in touch with us as it was time to move on. On the road, this is a wonderful classic 911 to drive. This example has also been fitted with PMO carburettors, the original Zeniths will be supplied with the car. The raspy, small capacity 2.2 engine coupled with the early 901 gearbox is a joy to exploit and is perfectly suited to an enthusiastic drive down a windy road on a warm summers evening. International enquiries welcome, please call today to register your interest.
