The Holden Special Vehicles SV5000 was a proper V8 bruiser and was built in very limited numbers (359 in total) between 1989 and 1991. Based on the VN Commodore, the SV5000 started life in Holdens Elizabeth plant in South Australia before being transferred to the boffins over at HSV, who were located in Notting Hill in Victoria at the time. This particular SV5000 is finished in SV Racing Green, one of only a handful of colours available on the SV5000 model. Both inside and out this SV5000 presents nicely and has only minor modifications such as a stereo and exhaust upgrade. Comes with original logbook, logbook folder and broadcast sheet. When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the DAbreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car.
