This Healey was despatched to the USA, where it remained in Ann Arbour, Michigan until 1990, when it was brought to Melbourne by the Healey Factory. The first Australian owner of the BJ8 purchased it from The Healey Factory in late 1990 and then commissioned The Healey Factory to carry out a full nut and bolt restoration. This restoration saw the beautiful, Metallic Golden Beige BJ8 brought back to a better than new condition.
