An Aussie legend on two and four wheels. Wayne Gardners career highlights include no less than 18 Grand Prix wins from a decade long partnership with Honda, along with becoming the first Australian to take the coveted 500ccMotorcycle World Championship title. Following his retirement from front line motorcycle racing at the end of 1992, Gardner made a much publicised switch to touring cars. This in turn led to Gardners foray into the world of road cars, in the form of the Wayne Gardner Racing Road Divisions Group A Commodore. Sensing a gap in the market between the increasingly expensive HSV products and the regular Commodore line up,. Gardners outfit planned to offer a wide range of engine, suspension and bodywork modifications at relatively affordable prices. Tapping into the expertise available via his racing team WGR upgrades included a cold-air induction system re-profiled camshaft, revised computer settings, intake and exhaust mods to increase power to 195kW. Based on the contemporary VR/VSCommodore with its slippery aero styling, WGRs GroupA body package was the work of Sydney design studio Talon which included a deep front spoiler with integrated driving lights, side skirts and a boot mounted rear wing complete with carbon-fiber end plates. The choice of wheels was the 18inch 5spoke alloy MOMO wheel complemented by the custom Recaro interior supplied by Autotek other cosmetic touches included a MOMO steering wheel with a carbon-fibre centre console. The main objective for WGR vehicles were to build them with quality tailored for customer requirements. WGR production vehicles that were built had a unique build number although exact production figures remain unknown. This particular example is totally original which comes with all documentation logbooks and service history. The vehicle presents in great condition throughout with minimum wear and tear only traveled just over 89,000km This rare classic is a must for any Holden collector or car enthusiast.

Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the DAlberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the DAlberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group As already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications what so ever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres, original logbook, sales brochure, two sets of original keys and other paraphernalia. There are no signs of wear on the steering wheel, gear knobor handbrake handle. To find another Walkinshaw as good as this one would be near impossible. Now available for sale is this rare Holden VP Commodore SV91. Build 52 of only 103 ever produced and rarely offered for sale these days. First released in October 1991 and manufactured by Holden in Elizabeth, South Australia. Powered by the mighty Holden 5.0 litre V8 engine backed up with a four-speed automatic transmission. The SV91, identified by its unique Euro Blue colour and matched also to the unique Steel Blue interior with HSV embroidered seats. Extra to this uniqueness is front and rear bumper assemblies, an open grille, side skirts, front wheel arch mouldings and a rear spoiler with stop lamp and nicely finished off with the subtle SV91 decal on the boot lid also.
