In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group As already in the collection at the time. This GTS-R W1 is everything any Holden fan wants to own. The looks, sound and performance are all perfectly matched to one another and are hard to beat as far as collectability goes in the HSV range. Starting with the astonishing Spitfire colour to the ground shaking LS9 supercharged engine this car does not disappoint. The subtle W1 badging gives off a hint of subtleness and so too do the huge Black 20 wheels. Originally offered in only eight colours, this one would have to be one of the best available. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Here is your opportunity to own what could easily be described as the best example of a VN Group A. in existence. Owned personally up until 2018 by the DÁlberto family, owners of the reputable DAlberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the DAbreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car.
