4-speed manual sedan - historic first-ever front-wheel drive Holden in remarkably original condition for a 32 year-old car.Second owner, purchased from deceased estate in Bendigo (Victoria) early last year, so the Camira was a country car for its first 31 years. The timing belt was changed less than 2 years ago (at around 198,000km). Still drives very well, & is used regularly. Currently club-registered, but this isn't transferable. The only roadworthy item that I can see that's needing repair is a small chip on the windscreen. A tiny amount of rust below the left-hand side rear window also exists - otherwise this is a very straight and respectable example of a rare & historic vehicle. The interior is exceptional bar a couple of age-related issues (sagging vinyl on one of the doors). There's a modern CD player but an original period Holden AM radio with an original Camira SL/X dash fascia plate comes with the car for originality. Please note this car has no air-conditioning (that's probably why it has survived for so long) or power steering. Still a joy to drive. This car needs a good home that appreciates the historic value of the Camira. I bought the Camira to save it from neglect & now I want it to go to somebody who will appreciate & maintain the JB.
