Now Available at Peter Vardy Heritage we are proud to showcase the 1975 Jenson Interceptor a true gentleman's express. A total of 6,408 Interceptors were produced between 1966 and 1976 of which only 509 were Convertibles. These cars were designed by Carrozzeria Touring with the bodies being made of steel and, in May 1972, the RHD models had increased their engine capacity to 7212cc. This Interceptor comes with an extensive history file that includes numerous invoices, receipts, old MOT certificates and it also includes the Jensen Interceptor handbook and Convertible supplement along with a workshop manual for the car. The indicated mileage of this gorgeous-looking Interceptor is just 25,000 - a plausible though unwarranted figure supported by the sheer quality of the interior, engine bay and underside of the car. The automatic gearbox and torque converter have been replaced in recent times, though just 4,000 miles have been covered in the last 16 years. Finished in lustrous metallic blue, andtrimmed in black leather, this lovely combination of British engineering and American muscle would surely grace any classic car collection and represents a fantastic 'blue chip' investment opportunity. 1990 Ferrari 328 GTS Key facts: 27695 miles Totally original example Excellent condition throughout Introduced in 1988, the 328 was the third of Ferraris highly successful family of V8 engined road cars that had begun with the 308 GT4 of 1973. Originally badged as a Dino, the all-new 308 GT4 2+2 took over from the preceding Dino V6. The newcomers wedge shaped styling, by Bertone rather than the customary Pininfarina, was not universally well received, but the performance of the amidships-mounted double overhead camshaft three litre V8 certainly was, and a new two-seater car using a dry-sumped version of the same power unit debuted at the Paris Salon in 1975. Subsequently updated with four valves per cylinder, the 308 was superseded by the mechanically similar but larger engined 328 GTB in 1985. By increasing both bore and stroke, the Quattrovalvole engines capacity was raised to 3,186cc which, together with a higher compression ratio, revised pistons, and improved Marelli engine management system, lifted maximum power to 270bhp at 7,000rpm. Top speed was raised to within a whisker of 160mph, with the sprint to 60mph covered in 5.5 seconds. On the outside, the addition of Testarossa-style moulded bumpers, a deeper rear valance and an unobtrusive roof spoiler could not disguise its underlying beauty. 'If the sublime purity of the original shape has been corrupted, its striking appearance has not. In our book, this is still the most beautiful of all contemporary exotics, a gorgeous looking car.' Motor magazine reviewing the Ferrari 328. This fabulous GTS example is presented in the classic Rosso Corsa with Crema leather interior complemented by red carpets. The paintwork is original and untouched as is the interior, which is rare today. This car comes with all of its original Ferrari manuals in their leather Ferrari wallet, accompanying this is the Ferrari tool roll which is complete and original with all the tools baring the Ferrari name, as they should, and the original jack in its originalroll also comes with the car. The mileage is genuine which can be backed up by the history. This particular example has been stored in a Carcoon for the last few years within a climate controlled garage and used sparingly by its fastidious owner. It is important to note that the last cambelt change was at 27,025 miles, in 2010. The service and MoT test certificate history can be seen within the cars history file. This car is presented with a new MoT test certificate which expires in April 2020 and is UK registered. This is a great opportunity to own an iconic Italian marque and still a head turner today as it was when first manufactured. I am certain once upon a time we all wanted to be Tom Selleck as Magnum! Now is your chance. 89995

Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Standard Steel Saloon For Sale. Chassis no: SCX 797 Engine no: SX 398C Body no: 6609 Registration: 6621 DF Mileage: 28,000 Facing increasing competition from faster rivals and with development of its ageing six-cylinder engine nearing its end, Rolls-Royce turned to V8 power as the 1960s approached. The V8 was, of course, the predominant power unit in Rolls-Royce's most important export market - the USA - so it was only natural that the Crewe firm would study the best American designs - principally those of Chrysler and Cadillac - for inspiration. Introduced in the autumn of 1959, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II and Bentley S2 appeared externally unchanged from their 'Cloud and S-Type predecessors, though the duo's performance was considerably enhanced by the new 6,230cc aluminium-alloy V8 engine. Although wider and shorter than the 'six' it replaced, the new power unit fitted relatively easily within the engine bay, relocation of the steering box from inside to outside of the chassis frame being the most obvious alteration to the previous arrangements. Externally the new models appeared virtually unchanged, while beneath the skin Rolls-Royce's own four-speed automatic transmission was now the only one on offer and power steering was standardized. Launched in 1962, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III and its Bentley S3 equivalent employed the 6.2-liter V8 engine introduced on the 'Cloud II/S2 - though with larger carburettors, new distributor and raised compression ratio - and came with a four-speed GM-derived automatic transmission as standard equipment. Most obvious among many changes from the preceding models was the adoption of four-headlamp lighting, the absence of sidelights from the wing tops, and a slightly lower radiator shell. Inside there was improved accommodation with separate front seats and increased room for rear passengers. Notable as the last mainstream Rolls-Royce to employ a separate chassis, the Silver Cloud III proved immensely successful both at home and abroad, remaining in production until the autumn of 1965. This magnificent example is one of the most spectacular Cloud IIIs that we have handled, having only one owner from and covered a scant 28,000 miles. The car is pure and untouched, never needing paint, trim or wood work this is an original car in excellent condition. The paintwork is finished in Astral Blue over Shell Grey with a faint light blue coachline, the interior is beautifully covered in light blue Connolly Vaumol leather and carpet. Mechanically she is sound having always been maintained, it is a true delight to drive on the road, you get a real essence of how it would feel driving away from Crewe in 1963. This Cloud comes with a plethora of documents including a specially ordered road map from the AA giving directions to the Crewe factory, the original RR guarantee, Silver Cloud brochure, various invoices and Mots. This original Silver Cloud III truly is a piece of history, she is sitting in our showroom and ready for viewing. A gallery of large high-resolution pictures may be viewed on our website. 1936 Bentley 4¼-Litre Sports Saloon by Freestone & Webb Chassis number: B-52-HK Registration number: CYX614 Ordered new by Famed Racing Driver Signore Gino Rovere; A noted Maserati & Alfa Romeo wheel man who competed in numerous events in the 1934 through 1938 years. Mostly he Drove Alf 8c's & Maserati 4CM Monoposto cars. The car was delivered new Via Folkestone to Turin in Italy. The Freestone & Webb body was originally ordered for a 3 1/2 litre chassis, but with the advent of the forthcoming 4.25 litre engine was instead fitted to chassis B-52-HK. Coachwork which it wears to this day. Pictures of the car appear in the noted tome "Coachwork on Derby Bentleys" by James Taylor. The coachwork is unusual in that it was a design originally produced for Woolfe Barnato for an 8 litre Bentley chassis. The design was then scaled down to fit this Derby Bentley. We have also in our time handled a Freestone & Webb Rolls Royce Phantom 2 with identical rear features. A beautiful chrome trim located along the door line accentuates the voluptuous shape of the car. This car has had extensive money spent upon it to put it into very fine mechanical condition. A full set of bills most from Fiennes engineering comes with the car attesting to a full recent engine rebuild completed by the last Belgian owner to whom we sold the car previously. Thus it starts readily & embodies the Moniker "The Silent Sports Car." The engine works are extensive & include: re-coring the radiator and a full engine rebuild, the crankshaft being reground, nitrided and re-white metalled. New parts fitted include the pistons and rings; timing gear bearings; crankshaft balancer discs; cam balance springs; cam follower springs and wheel pins; valve guide seals; valve springs; and a full-flow oil filter system. In addition, the carburettor jets and needles have been replaced; the flywheel skimmed and an exchange clutch plate fitted; the exhaust system replaced in its entirety; new brake servo discs installed; the rear brakes relined; front/rear wheel bearings replaced; and the rear axle rebuilt with a new high-ratio crown wheel/pinion and new pinion bearings. Turning to the suspension: the pins and bushes (two excepted) have been replaced and new shackle spacer washers fitted. Other works include rewiring the electrics, fitting flashing indicators and extensive re-chroming by Derby Plating. Recent works include spectacular re-veneering of the interior woodwork by noted specialists Silvercrest of Iver. One might easily be forgiven for mistaking as work having been performed by Purdeys. The wood is spectacular root stock burr walnut with a gorgeous semi matt satin finish. Likewise, the interior leather is brand new chocolate coloured hide in perfect order throughout.
