This top class Jaguar E-Type Series II FHC is a matching numbers car still finished in its original colour of Regency Red. The car was manufactured on the 26th March 1969 and has covered 83,000 miles from new with a well-documented history. The original service book accompanies the car detailing Resnik Motors Inc in Manchester, New Hampton supplying the car to its first owner, Dr W T Belger. A comprehensive US 1980's history also companies the E-Type and in 1989 the car was purchased by a private owner in Buckinghamshire who registered the car in the UK for the first time. The E-Type was subject of a RHD conversion and some restoration work on initial arrival in the UK and it was in regular use right throughout the 1990's and 2000's covering 10,000 miles. In 2011 the E-Type changed hands and was then subject of a two year rebuild, overseen by E-Type expert and Club Technical Director Ken Jenkins. The car was completely dismantled and treated to an engine rebuild (UK spec with high compressionpistons) gearbox rebuild and rear axle overhaul and conversion to UK spec, 3.07:1. Triple HD8 SU carburettors were rebuilt and fitted to the car, the Koni shock absorbers were re-used and the handling and grip further enhanced by Aston Martin DB6 chrome wire wheels with 215-65-15 tyres. All mechanical components were replaced or re-conditioned and the car finished to an exceptionally high standard. Whilst the body was stripped down, it was taken on by a Rolls Royce painter for preparation and paint finish and the interior was completely re-trimmed in Barley. Invoices for the work are in the history file, including the engine rebuild by Ken Jenkins. Since completion of this major restoration, the E-Type has only covered 4000 miles and is in truly exceptional condition. The bodywork is first class with excellent panel gaps and no corrosion issues. The paint finish gleams, chrome work is stunning and the re-trimmed upholstery still looks new, as do the DB6 chrome wires. The underside is top class, theengine bay beautifully detailed and clean, the spare wheel well perfect. On the road RRX 999H is outstanding with a gorgeous, fit engine holding excellent oil pressure and delivering impressive performance. The all syncro four speed gearbox is effortless to use with lovely smooth changes and the rebuilt UK rear axle is just perfect. The E-Type handles with perfection and the brakes are super efficient. The drive is quite simply sublime and is a truly superb experience. RRX 999H is a first class example with matching numbers, is finished in arguably one of the nicest colour combinations and has an exceptional bodyshell, stunning paintwork and trim. This is something very special and has been dismantled and rebuilt to the highest of standards. Price: 99,995

This is a superb driving, ultra-usable and very genuine UK supplied, matching numbers Jaguar E-Type Roadster that's still in its original factory colours of Willow Green with Black leather upholstery. OOV 996G was manufactured on the 28th October 1968 and supplied new by Birmingham dealer P J Evans and comes with an impressive history dating back to the mid 1970's. The Jaguar was in the hands of a Sutton Coldfield based antiques dealer during the early 1970's and in 1975 sold to a Staffordshire based owner who kept the E-Type for 19 years. In 1994, the E-Type was sold by the E-Type Centre to a Jaguar enthusiast in Wakefield and after 22 years of ownership the car was sold to the most recent owner, a retired motor engineer who lived just a few streets away. This very genuine original car has had just three owners in 44 years and has been driven over to us faultlessly from West Yorkshire. When the E-Type was purchased by its Staffordshire based owner in 1975, the E-Type had covered 63,000 miles injust seven years. In 1979 the car was subject of substantial restoration work to include a new bonnet, new underbody floor pans, new sills, a complete re-paint in the cars original colour (invoice from 1979 on file), re-trim as per original, renewed chrome work and during the early 1980's was treated to an engine rebuild with the mileage at 80,000 by this point. A large file of Martin Robey invoices are on file throughout the 1980's and the engine rebuild was completed by Autosprint Racing Engines in Birmingham. The engine was treated to new pistons, main and big end bearings, re-ground crankshaft, performance camshaft, cam bearings, cam followers, new valve guides, lightened flywheel, new oil pump and timing chain. Remarkably, whilst maintaining regular but very low usage, the E-Type has only covered 8000 miles since its mid 1980's engine rebuild, all verified in the vehicle history file. From 1994 to 2016 with its next owner, the E-Type covered 5000 miles with MOT's and tax discs on file showingthe car was in annual use. Over this period the car was subject of regular expenditure with invoices on file for upkeep and maintenance. In 1994 the E-Type was treated to further bodywork, wheel arches were taken back to bare metal and treated to repairs and paintwork as necessary. Invoices throughout the 1990's detail various mechanical work to the braking, suspension, steering, electric and fuel system and in 2008 The Hutson Motor Company rebuilt the carburettors, fitted new steering rack mountings, fitted a new fuel pump and replaced the bonnet struts. In 2015 shortly before selling the car after 22 years of ownership, over 2000 was spent on new engine mountings, new fulcrum shaft bearings, new rear hub inner seals, various new ignition items, new filters, new choke and speedo cables. In 2016 the most recent owner purchased the E-Type and has covered around 1000 faultless miles in the car. As a retired motor engineer with ramp facilities at home, the car was treated to a thorough going over toinclude removal of the rear subframe cage which was subsequently rebuilt with new brakes and suspension springs. OOV 996G has driven over 60 miles to us and performed faultlessly. The engine is incredibly strong and fit, it holds excellent oil pressure, is very impressive under load offering brilliant performance and cooling remains correct. The E-Type sat for sometime in York traffic on route to us and remained at correct temperature. The E-Type holds the road superbly, braking is sharp and efficient, and the car offers a fabulous driving experience. OOV 996G presents very well and as an honest original car. Paintwork is now over 30 years old and has a lovely deep shine and patina. The bodywork is of a very good standard and the various blemishes and imperfections really highlight what an honest, older restoration this really is. The bonnet is structurally outstanding and the 1994 waxoyl is still in place, still doing its job. This is a really solid, straight and usable car and is a great basisfor improvement but also ideal for putting into immediate regular use or long distance touring. The hood is excellent, the chrome work and chrome wire wheels are superb and the interior having been last trimmed in the 1970's looks nicely aged, honest and naturally has a true patina. All the gauges work, the car appears very correct and it most certainly will not disappoint if looking for a usable, genuine UK E-Type. This really is a great buy; its in a superb rare period colour, it drives beautifully, it comes with excellent provenance, history, matching numbers and is offered onto the market a very sensible price. 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk.III BJ8 Phase II Key facts: 71065 miles 5 year restoration Converted to right hand drive The Austin Healey 3000 Mk. III was launched in October 1963 and remained in production until the end of 1967 when production of Austin Healeys ceased. Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with a walnut veneer dash, wind-up windows and a 150bhp engine. Improvements to the engine included a revised camshaft, valve springs and twin SU 2' HD8 carburettors together with a redesigned exhaust system and servo-assisted brakes. In May 1964, the Phase II version was introduced that gave better ground clearance at the rear by a modified chassis. This delightfully handsome Austin Healey was repatriated from North America during 1990, and then sat for many years before being restored and subsequently registered in October 2015. The exacting restoration in the UK took in the region of five years to complete. The aim was to make this one of thefinest examples. Particular attention was paid to the panel gaps and finish of the coachwork. The fabulous two-tone blue and cream paintwork, that cost 16,000, is in excellent order and is complemented by a new set of chrome wire wheels that are shod with Pirelli Cinturato tyres. The exterior chromework was restored at a cost of 5,000 whilst on the inside, the standard continues. The interior, with its light blue leather, new carpets and excellent walnut wood dashboard and trimmings, does not disappoint; it is an interior that certainly invites you in. New weather equipment includes the hood, hood bag and tonneau cover. Mechanically, this Healey has been extensively overhauled and converted to righthand drive. The engine has been stripped, overhauled, ported and polished with exhaust gases extracted via a stainless steel exhaust. An electronic ignition system has been fitted for reliability. The detailed engine bay has been finished to as much of the original specification as possible including thecorrect wiring loom. The gearbox has also been rebuilt and the overdrive unit fitted by Rawles Motor Sport. The suspension has not been neglected, whilst the rest of the undersides has been finished as per the rest of this Healey and protected and treated. A large file includes the US Certificate of Title, a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate of the factory record that confirms the date of manufacture as 10th to 12th June 1964, invoices, old MoT test certificates and a UK V5C registration document. Used sparingly since the completion of the restoration, this fine Austin Healey is ready to use and enjoy immediately 94995
