This outstanding Rolls Royce Corniche was supplied new by Lex Mead (Manchester) Ltd, delivered on the 31st January 1974 with factory special features to include plain Sundym glass throughout, headrests to both front seats, Black lambswool rugs to front and rear compartment, front foglamps with fitted switchbox to suit and rear Red Fog-guard lamps. The original Rolls Royce paperwork also confirms the car was built to coachbuilder SVR.2006 (Special Vehicle Requiments). The Rolls Royce is supplied with full factory specification sheets, original handbooks and manuals with a service history booklet beginning at 42,680 in 1988, a bill of sale to a Bristol based Solicitor firm in 1985, MOT certificates dating back to 2003 and a staggering 64,000 worth of receipts for work since the early 2000's. ADA 962M has a recorded mileage of 83,400, believed genuine from the extensive history we have and the fact that there are many original features still in place inside of the vehicle. In late 2015 a majorprogramme of work costing in the region of 20,000 was undertaken and just 1500 miles have been completed since. The Rolls Royce was driven to us from Lincolnshire and is in excellent mechanical order. The Rolls Royce is presented in stunning condition having recently undergone a body restoration and full windows out re-paint. Bodywork included new inner and outer wheel arches and new front and rear valances. Various re-chroming has also been recently carried out and mechanical work included new front brake discs, new rocker cover gasket, rear low bush pins, new lower arm rear bushes , new steering shaft, and universal joint, new output shaft seals, rear handbrake cables, new gearbox tail shift oil seal and new diff nose seal. Other work included new coolant temperature gauge, oil pressure sender unit, oil pressure gauge, re-conditioned rev counter, replacement window motor, new courtesy light switches and the fitting of a new modern radio unit with Sat Nav and Bluetooth and more recently a newexhaust system has been fitted. A new radio surround panel was also fitted with the original walnut fascia with the car so it can be put back to original if desired. New service and ignition items include spark plugs, filters, HT lead distributor to coil, HT leads, distributor cap, contact set, condenser, ignition coil, ballest resistant coil and rotor arm. Further to this recent work, invoices detail an engine rebuild amongst around 45,000 of receipts over several years since around 2002. Replacement parts include new accumulators, new hydraulic pumps, gearbox oil cooler pipes, new alternator, overhauled brake calipers, rear brake discs, many new flexi hoses and of course dismantling the engine, replacing liner seals, re-facing cylinder heads and re-fitting the engine, engine mountings and much more. Finding a Corniche with this level of expenditure could prove difficult and the result of the major mechanical expense is a car that is truly outstanding to drive with a wonderful, quiet engine, supersmooth gearbox, beautiful suspension, light steering and efficient brakes. The car has driven effortlessly from London and is truly first class to drive. This car has been prepared and maintained with no expense spared and is something very special. ADA 962M presents superbly with a first class paint finish, stunning straight panels, new windscreen seals and door rubbers, gleaming chrome and smart re-painted wheels and detailed engine bay. The interior is beautiful with excellent Black leather seats, lovely door cards, carpets, overrugs and stunning, clean headlining and excellent woodwork. All electrics work correctly and the car is ready to drive away and enjoy. This Corniche is a wonderful, top class example and quite unique having had over 64,000 spent on the car over the past fifteen years or so. Price: 39,995

![CDATA[The Corniche was Rolls-Royce's coupé and convertible version of the Silver Shadow produced between 1971 and 1996. It was named Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Two-Door Fixedhead Coupé', before 1971 after which the more elegant name of Corniche was applied. The model was assembled and finished in London at Mulliner Park Ward as a continuation of the 1965 Silver Shadow coupé and was also sold as a Bentley although that model became known as the Continental in 1984. The first car to wear the Corniche name was a 1939 prototype based on the Bentley Mk. V which was never produced due to the onset of World War I. Originally registered on 27th January, 1976, this Corniche was thought to be the Motor Show car in 1977. A Suffix 1A Corniche is the best of both worlds, with the later type dashboard and instruments and front subframe with rack and pinion steering, yet aesthetically a delightful looking car with chrome bumpers. The blue coachwork is in very good order and the cream leather interior issoft, supple and shows no sign of significant wear. These Rolls-Royces are exceptionally graceful in their appearance and certainly do not disappoint when driven. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate, sadly there is no too much available in terms of history although the condition could well indicate the odometer reading to be correct, however not warranted. ]]

Willow Gold with Magnolia Leather, An impeccable example of the Corniche 11, with fantastic supporting history and provenance. Supplied new in June 1985 by RR Motors, Conduit St, London, stayed in the initial owners hands for 4 years before passing into his business partners ownership for the next 29 years to date. This car has been meticulously well kept, with all small and large factory supplied tools present as are all factory books and pull-outs including the original service book, boasting 17 service stamps. Servicing has always been RR main dealer or RR specialist, with comprehensive invoicing to accompany. Serviced at 12,13,16,19,21,23,24,25,27,28,30,36,37,37,37,38 and 38k miles. Last serviced less than 300 miles ago. The cars interior is as lightly used and unmarked as you are likely to see. The original hood is retained, complete with original tonneau cover, and factory supplied lambswool overrugs still in place. All Burr Walnut cappings are virtually unmarked. As the car has always beendry stored and garaged, it has never suffered from sun bleaching or dampness, and still retains that factory fresh Connolly hide aroma that is often lost in less well cared for examples. The underside, having been regularly Waxoyled is like the day it left Crewe in 1985. The drive is super tight and smooth, due to the level of maintenance lavished on this car during its lifetime. Corniches were designed to glide, and this example does just that ! This car ticks all the right boxes being low ownership, low mileage, properly maintained with superb history on top of being a genuinely well kept original and unspoilt example. You will look long and hard to find nicer. May P/X (Registration excluded), 79,950
