Maserati Mexico 4.2 Berline Sportfor sale in London 1 of only 305of this model, designated 'Mexico' Comprehensive history file Bare metal restoration completed in 2012 with photographic documentation Borrani wire wheels Named later in honour of Cooper-Maserati's victory in the 1966 Mexican Grand Prix, the Mexico debuted at the 1966 Turin Motor Show. Effectively replacing the six-cylinder four-seater Sebring model, Maserati's new V8-engined sports car boasted elegant yet understated coachwork by Carrozzeria Vignale, Maserati's preferred coach-builder. The Mexico was intended for customers who wanted a luxurious four-seater but preferred something more sporting than the larger Quattroporte saloon. A matching numbers 4.2-litre model equipped with the desirable five-speed manual gearbox, this particular Mexico was delivered new to Mr Pasquali Renato in Bologna, Italy in February 1969. Mr Pasqualli kept the Maserati for seven years before selling it to Mr Adam Rosenblatt of Mill Valley, California, USAin July 1976. After some 30-plus years in the USA, the car was exported again (in 2008) on this occasion to the Netherlands where its third owner, a Mr Klaus from Rotterdam, kept it for two years. The fourthowner, bought the car from Mr Klaus in 2010 and had it treated to an extensive 'bare metal' restoration in 2012. Works carried out included a bare metal re-spray in a fabulous Blu Ischia; interior re-trim in Linen leather; dashboard and restored clocks and switches. the fitting of Electric power-assisted steering is the only noted, very sensible modification. Since then the Mexico has been driven and enjoyed frequently, covering some 1,788 milessince the restoration's completion. The car is offered with Maserati heritage certificate; old Certificate of Title; old bill of sale; service invoices dating back to the 1980s; photographs and invoices relating to the 2012 restoration and UKregistration papers. Owner's and spare parts manuals also accompany the vehicle. Our Maserati Mexico drives andhandles beautifully, with lots of torque, a smooth clutch and an extremely comfortable ride in all situations. 1960 Maserati 3500 GT by Touring Chassis number: 101902 Registration Number: 63EUL One of just 40 Right Hand drives examples produced; this 1960 Maserati 3500 GT wears seductive two door coupe coachwork by famed coachbuilders Touring of Milano. The coupés were hand-built by Touring using aluminium panels and 'Superleggera' principles. An official letter from Maserati in 1988 confirms the 3500 GT still wears its beautiful original colour scheme of Grigio over a Red leather interior, the only alteration being the stunning Ruby Red roof which greatly enhances the cars overall appearance. Inside the lovely Red leather piped in Grey remains soft and welcoming and the vibrant Italian Red carpets appear unworn. The dashboard is pure Maserati 1960 and the steering wheel is simply a work of art. Pleasingly, the car retains its cream Bakelite gear lever knob and the early Motorola radio. The boot is beutifully finished in quilted red leather extending also to the boot lid. Being a later model the car is fitted with disc brakes. The 3.4-litre straight-six engine was a significant step-up developing more power than the A6G, and pleasingly in terms of marketing, the 3500GT's power unit was distantly related to the 250F Grand Prix car's as well as the 300S and 350S sports racers. It was up-to-the-minute, boasting a twin-overhead camshaft design that had been reworked by chief engineer Giulio Alfieri to improve power delivery and to make it docile enough for road use. It breathes through triple Webers carburettors and with twin spark plugs per cylinder, with a power output of 220 bhp. The engine is mated to the then newly designed ZF-S4-17 gearbox with synchromesh on all four gears making this, in the mid-fifties, a pretty advanced mechanical package, a fact that wasn't lost on Mr Ferrari. The engine is in fine fettle firing up instantly & pulling strongly. The all synchromesh gear bot is a delight to use & feels way ahead of tis time. Accompanying the car is a wonderful history folder that includes photographic documentation of the car's restoration, a large number of invoices detailing works completed over the years and numerous older MoTs, including one that was issued in 1983. Also included within the file are the Maserati 3500 GTs Owner's Hand Books and Operating Manual. This Maserati drives simply beautifully & compares very favorably to contemporary Ferraris of the time but at a tenth of the price!!! .. Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1972 Maserati Indy 2+2 4900 Coupé by Carrozzeria Vignale For Sale. Chassis no: A1M116/49.1708 Registration: OABJ105 Mileage: 57,000 Maserati followed up its stunning, Ghia-styled Ghibli two-seater with the equally elegant Indy 2+2, though the latter, announced in 1968 and noteworthy as the first unitary construction Maserati, was the work of Carrozzeria Vignale. The Indy first appeared publicly on Vignale's stand at the 1968 Turin Motor Show and was officially launched by Maserati at the Geneva Salon in 1969. Running gear was conventional, with independent front suspension, live rear axle and four-wheel disc brakes, while the power unit was - initially - the Modena firm's well-tried, 4.1-litre, four-cam V8, with 4.7- and 4.9-litre versions following. With 260bhp on tap, the top speed of Maserati's luxury four-seater was in the region of 150mph, a figure the subsequent larger-engined versions improved upon. The sleek Vignale coachwork was so effective that the Indy was able to carry four people in relative comfort without impairing its performance as a sports car. In 4.9-litre form the Indy's claimed maximum increased to 320bhp, which pushed its top speed to 165mph. Power steering and air conditioning were standard on the '4900' model, 300 of which were made between 1972 and 1975. Finished in Black with Black leather interior all in fine order, this is a great opportunity to own a true Italian classic. In our showroom and ready for viewing. A true late 1960s icon, the Maserati Ghibli was first shown to the world at the 1966 Turin motor show. Named after the Ghibli winds from Northern Africa; a wind you would expect from such a motorcar flying past at over 160 mph! Designed by Giorgetto Giugaro at the time on behalf of Ghia, the Ghibli received a steel body with a very imposing shark nose featuring pop up headlights. As a direct competitor to the Lamborghini Miura and the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Maseratis new tour de force housed a mammoth 4.7 l quad-cam dry sump V8 designed by Giulio Alfieri and produced over 310 hp. The engine is mated to a five-speed ZF transmission, an optional 3-speed automatic was offered. Resulting in a sprint to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of over 160 mph. The live rear axle, leaf springs and enormous torque, all in harmony, made the Maserati Ghibli a very flexible and easy to use GT for her era. Built as a two door Grand Turismo with a 2+2 fastback layout, the cabin of the Ghibli is a spectacular place to be with the finest Connolly leather encircling the cockpit. The fitment of Air Conditioning and the optional Power Steering left the Ghibli in a league of her own. We are proud to offer for sale this lovingly restored example. This motorcar was ordered new by Rolma Automobili of Via Fontana, Milano in October of 1969 in Beige (106. Y. 56) with Senape (PAC 1775) leather, a becker radio and power steering. Once dispatched from the factory on the 19th of January 1970 to Rolma, she was sold to her first owner Dr Enrico Amelotti from Pavia, Italy. Now registered PV 221425, she received a service by the factory at 10,650 km. By 1984, the motorcar had been imported to Pennsylvania in the United States and registered to Samuel D Burgio; then remaining in his ownership until 2012. Now sold by the Beverly Hills Car Club, she found a new home in London, United Kingdom with her current custodian. Embarking on a no expense spared restoration at the end of 2014 that came to fruition in 2017, by the world-renowned McGrath Maserati; with invoices on file exceeding £120,000 from McGrath alone. This motorcar comes with her Maserati Classiche file, build sheets and is ready to be enjoyed with little miles completed since her complete rebuild. With the current value of Daytonas and Miuras, the Maserati Ghibli is a great investment proposition with only 1170 coupes made.

1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Spyder (LHD) for sale in London 2016 Maserati Club Concours winner Beautiful Spyder conversion from a matching numbers car Almost indistinguishable from an original Spyder Comprehensive history file Ghibli was the first Maserati Supercar, launched in 1966 and named after a hot wind blowing across the Sahara, the styling was by a young Giorgetto Giugiaro then working at Ghia while the mechanical design was the work of Maseratis chief engineer, Giulio Alfieri. The Ghibli was a direct rival to the Ferrari Daytona, more expensive when new and regarded by Classic & Sportscar magazine in 2010, to be a much more pleasant car to drive and own. This car, chassis number AM11549 1814, is a late Ghibli with the most desirable 4.9 SS configuration. Manufactured in 1971 and imported into England in 1989 by Richard Lee, who owned the car until 2012. During that 20 year period,Mr. Lee spent a vast amount of money on his beloved Ghibli, including having an engine rebuild by ColinClarkeengineering and had the car expertly adapted to Spider configuration by the experienced and well-respected Eddie Noone of Vale Cottage Coachworks. A Vale Cottage conversion was almost indistinguishable from the original Spyder to all but the most expert eye and also included the all-important stiffening of the bodyshell, just like Maserati did on the originals. The car was exported to Holland in 2013 by an established Dutch collector, whilst there the owner expended a considerable sum re-spraying the car to his taste in the stunning Verde Indyit is presented in today. Inside, theinterior received a total restoration in the finest Tobacco hide along with a new Dark Green Mohair hood, it is a truly beautiful colour combination that must be seen to be appreciated. Presented in fabulous condition throughout, the car has been inspected by one of the world's leading classic Maserati experts and at that time had 3 point seat belts fitted with hood adjustment and a replacement of the windscreen seal.Thisparticular example is very well known in Maserati circles having been selected as Sponsors choice at the 2016 Maserati Club Concours event. Beinga matching numbers car and with a high-quality conversion, it is capable of offering all of the excitement and majesty of an original Spyder, but for less than half the price. A similar concours car was sold by Goodings at the 2016 Pebble Beach auctions in Monterey for $1,500,000.
