The Lamborghini Miura can be credited with creating the supercar as we know it today; a car that so radically changed car design in the late 60s, that its influence can still be seen in the design of some of the modern hypercars we see currently released. The final and arguably the most famous iteration of the Miura was the P400 SV by Bertone. The SV was revealed in 1971 and featured a revised version of the transversely-mounted 4 litre V12 engine as found in the preceding P400 S and P400 models. The adjustments included different cam timing and larger Weber carburettors, increasing power to 385 hp, enough to accelerate the SV to 60mph in under 6 seconds and on to a top speed of 180mph. Just 150 examples of the Miura SV were produced. The example we are pleased to offer rolled off the production line in Sant'Agata in 1972 and was delivered new to the Saudi Royal Family. Because of the important status of the buyer, Lamborghini fitted two aero canards to the front of this car, 1 of just 2 cars tohave this addition. This being a later car, it also featured the separation of its engine and gearbox oils through the means of a split sump system, 1 of 96 cars to utilise this. In the early 2000's, whilst valuing assets in a large warehouse owned by the Saudi Royal Family in Riyadh, the car was found underneath a hoard of cardboard boxes - reading only 3800 kms. The car was bought and exported to the USA in 2005, for full and warranted restoration works at Boblieff Motorcars. The car was completed in 2007, having undergone a full nut and bolt restoration, with the colour changed to the striking colour scheme of Metallic Grey over an Orange leather interior. When the car was completed, the unoriginal colour scheme was a hit, even with noted Miura historian and concours judge Joe Sackey, who after seeing it said the paint colour should be called 'Grigio Fantastico Metallizzato'. The restoring owner decided to sell soon after as it was sold to the heir to a sprinkler manufacturing company, living inthe Pacific Palisades, in the spring of 2008. He retained the car until the Autumn of 2010 whereupon it was sold to European investor and sent to Joe Macari Classics, arriving early 2011 and being UK registered that same Summer. Since Boblieff restored the car some 13 years ago, it is now reading 5759kms, meaning it has travelled less than 2,000kms since it was found in Riyadh (and subsequently restored), thus making it the lowest original mileage Miura SV in the world and a true collectors' item. Please call today to make an appointment to inspect this very special Miura SV.

The Lamborghini Reventon was first unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and was the most expensive Lamborghini road car ever produced. The Reventon share many of its mechanical components with the LP640 Murcielago but features a completely reworked exterior and interior, both of which were designed to imitate that of an F15 Fighter Jet. Just 20 Reventon Coupes were produced. The Reventon utilises the same 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine as found in the Murcielago, although an increased use of carbon fibre composites liberates an extra 10bhp over the Murcielago, bringing the total to 641bhp at 8000rpm and powering the Reventon to a top speed of 211mph. This power is deployed through a 6-speed e-gear semi-automatic gearbox with the same AWD system found in the Murcielago. All Reventons produced were finished in the same 'Reventon' Grey, a mid-opaque green/grey which mimics the paint used on the F15 Fighter Jets. The aerospace theme continues throughout the interior, with the Reventonutilising a cutting edge TFT liquid crystal dash display which can change from a digital display to a quasi-analogical display at the press of a button. In 2009 Lamborghini unveiled the Roadster variant of the Reventon, with an even smaller production run of just 15 units. The car we are pleased to offer is a 2010 model and is one of just three produced in RHD variant. It is a UK supplied car and sits today in fantastic condition after covering just over 1,000 miles from new. With such low production numbers, the opportunities to own one of these cars are few and far between, even rarer is the chance to own a RHD variant. This car represents a significant moment in Lamborghini's recent history, being produced in between the Murcielago and the Aventador and would make a perfect addition to any collection.

The Lamborghini Miura can be credited with creating the supercar as we know it today; a car that so radically changed car design in the late 60s, that its influence can still be seen in the design of some of the modern hypercars we see currently released. The concept is believed to be the brainchild of seven young engineers at Sant'Agata, with the design credit going to Marcello Gandini at Bertone, who was just 27 at the time. The transversely-mounted mid-engine was something totally new at the time and this design genius can be seen in features such as the doors resembling bullhorns and those now iconic eye-lashes around the lights. The 4-litre V12 engine was also a thing of beauty and capable of performance unprecedented at the time, with 350 bhp through a 6 Weber Carb set-up and a top speed north of 175 mph. The example we have for sale was the 342nd car to leave the production line, making it an 'S' cariant from factory as only 275 standard cars were produced. This matching numbers Miura hadthe ultra-desirable air conditioning fitted from factory and was featured in the film 'Road Hard'. The car sits in a rich Arancio over Black and features Gold Wheels and side skirts. Rarely does an example of this calibre come up for sale, not an opportunity to be missed!
