The Murcilago is an all-wheel drive, mid-engined supersports car. With an angular design and an exceptionally low slung body, the highest point of the roof is just under 4 feet above the ground. One of the vehicle's most distinguishing features are its scissor doors. which lends to the extreme image. First-generation Murcilagos, produced between 2001 and 2006, were powered by a Lamborghini V12 that traces its roots back to the company's beginnings in the 1960s. The first-generation cars were produced between 2001 and 2006, and known simply as Murcilago, sometimes Murcilago VT. Their V12 engines produced just under 580 PS (572 hp), and powered the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds. Subsequent versions incorporated an alphanumeric designation to the name Murcilago, which indicated their engine configuration and output. However, the original cars are never referred to as 'LP 580s'. A first generation Murcilago Roadster featured in the 2005 movie Batman Begins This was Lamborghini's first newdesign in eleven years, the car was also the brand's first new model under the ownership of German parent company Volkswagen. It is styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design from 1998 to 2005. Production of the Murcilago ended on November 5, 2010, with a total run of 4,099 cars. The LP 670-4 SuperVeloce was debuted at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the moniker SV was attributed to the car in line with the philosophy of all SV's that pre-dated the Murcielago - More extreme, track oriented and released at the end of the production run. The SV develops 661hp and 660Nm of torque thanks to revised valve timing and upgraded intake system. The cars weight was reduced by around 100kg thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre inside and out, as well as a lightweight exhaust system. All SV's featured Carbon Ceramic brakes as standard and is capable of achieving a 0-60 times of only 2.9 seconds. While numbers were originally planned to reach 350 units produced only 186 carswere ever built as the factory had to make way for the new Aventador. The example we are offering is finished in Matt White over Black, and has only travelled 250 miles from new. A rare opportunity to own the ultimate Murcielago.

Produced between 1982 and 1990 the Lamborghini Jalpa was the' junior' Lamborghini of the 1980s and was designed to rejoin the battle with Ferrari's similarly sized 308. Major changes included a quad-cam V8 engine with its capacity increased to 3.5 litres and somewhat more aggressive styling, mainly in the side treatment of the body, which was again conceived and executed by Bertone. However, the Jalpa was essentially a development of the earlier Uracco and Silhouette and remained a Targa-style two-seater with a carburettor-fed engine mounted transversely, a five-speed transaxle, and fully independent suspension. Maximum power was 255bhp at 7000rpm, good enough to give the aerodynamic Jalpa a top speed of around 155mph. Production was both limited and sporadic, with a mere 419 examples manufactured over eight years.(34 in rhd). FHA 80 is Chassis Number 12056 and dates from early 1983. Production cars commenced with 12010 (earlier cars were either pre-production prototypes or destroyed incrash-testing) suggesting that this car is number 46 off the line, however, it is certainly one of the first two right-hand-drive cars and the first UK customer car as its (Silver) sister car (both left the factory on the same day) was the Portman Group's official demonstrator and press road-test car. It has Silhouette rear lights and a fuel filler inside the engine bay, all features common to an early car.Having been enjoyed by four owners, the Jalpa was purchased, with around 76,000kms indicated, in 2001 by its fifth custodian, a total Lamborghini enthusiast, who was to retain it until 2013. During the last few years of his ownership, the car was fully restored including fresh paint in its original Red with gun-metal grey bumpers and air-scoops as original. The only deviation from factory finish was to paint the Targa top in body colour as he felt it looked better, fit a radio/cassette with a screen-mounted aerial, baby Vitaloni mirrors, and new Carello fog lights with covers. On its sale toourvendor, he passed on a remarkable history file which includes " Bills, official club magazines, copies of paper documents from the original owner with the Lamborghini factory which includes letters to and from Ubaldo Sgarzi re the purchase of the new car, official Portman Lamborghini dealership documents and adverts, local press for the first owner, DVLA documents of previous owners and 80's club magazines with the car in, faxes, Telex from the factory, bills and UK Lamborghini club newsletters. Technical specs, old MoTs and many Tax discs". Since his purchase in 2013, our vendor has used the car lightly and the indicated mileage is now 85,500kms ( 53,437 miles). He tells us that "The paintwork is not perfect, but very good and that he has spent money as required on the car, but always keeping it as original as possible. Aside from routine servicing, the car has benefited from - All new Engine MountsAll Carbs rebuilt with new gaskets / jets / floats etc.All suspension rebuilt - note this isrebuiltwith new parts and NOT simply had gas inserts put in.New Springs all round of the same specNew Tyres all roundSome Chassis welding repairs."Until quite recently, the Jalpa has been overlooked by classic car investors, however, their rarity and approachability have resulted in prices steadily rising over the last three years and this eminently drivable, original engine/gearbox, low-mileage example seems to represent an excellent opportunity.

The Lamborghini LM002 is both a contradiction of tradition and a key pillar of Lamborghini design as it continued henceforth. At a time when Lamborghini was largely renowned for its Grand Tourers and Sports cars, the LM002 and its SUV design was a huge departure for the company; although having its roots in Tractor design a Utility Vehicle was something Lamborghini was infinitely more adequately equipped to conceive and realise than any of its sports car manufacturing rivals. The vehicle's design process began with designing a military vehicle prototype in 1977, codenamed 'Cheetah' and featured a rear mounted Chrysler V8. No interest was garnered and the prototype was then sold to Teledyne Continental Motors. Following this Lamborghini designed the LM001, which was a more road focused iteration of the Cheetah and still featured the same rear mounted V8 as was found in the cheetah. It was then decided that the rear mounted engine created a number of handling characteristics that were unfavourable inan off-road focused vehicle, thus birthing the LMA002 which featured an entirely new chassis as well as a Front-Mounted V12 straight from a Lamborghini Countach. Eventually this prototype was given a serial number and saw the creation of the first example of the LM002. Unveiled at the 1986 Brussels Auto Show, the production version featured a luxurious interior complete with leather trim, power windows, air-con and a roof mounted stereo unit. During the 1986-1993 production run, a mere 328 examples were produced. The example we have for sale was produced in 1990 and is finished in a stunning Black over Red colourway. The car underwent just under 30,000 worth of maintenance, major servicing and upgrading - including belts, gaskets, winch installation, brakes and exhaust overhaul.

The Lamborghini Miura can be credited with creating the supercar as we know it today; a car that so radically changed car design in the late 60s, that its influence can still be seen in the design of some of the modern hypercars we see currently released. The concept is believed to be the brainchild of seven young engineers at Sant'Agata, with the design credit going to Marcello Gandini at Bertone, who was just 27 at the time. The transversely-mounted mid-engine was something totally new at the time and this design genius can be seen in features such as the doors resembling bullhorns and those now iconic eye-lashes around the lights. The 4-litre V12 engine was also a thing of beauty and capable of performance unprecedented at the time, with 350 bhp through a 6 Weber Carb set-up and a top speed north of 175 mph. The example we are offering was built in 1970 to 'S' specification and has been unbelievably well cared for during its lifetime. A matching numbers example originally delivered to the USfinished in Red over Blue, service invoices indicate that the car resided in Maryland towards the end of the 1980's until the turn of the millennium. These service records show the car was serviced on a biannual basis and remained under the same ownership for the duration of this period. In 2002 the car moved to New Jersey and underwent what could almost be described as excessive care, between 2002 and 2007 we have more than 20 invoices for over $125,000 worth of restorative work at Exoticars USA - Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari restoration Specialists. The level of detail is extraordinary, with the invoices breaking down in detail exactly what was carried out on the car including the re-upholstery of the interior to red. Around 2009 the car moved again to California and saw equally extensive care and attention. Immediately the new owner spent $186,000 having the car brought in line with SV specification including SV tail flares, SV rockers, SV tail lamp inserts, door pins and a Front Bumper. The car sits in absolutely pristine condition, it would be no small feat to find a Miura on market today that is anywhere near as mechanically and aesthetically sound as this car.
