The start of the 3rd Millenium was a great time for Ferrari, not only on the road but also on the track; 6 Constructors' titles between 1999 and 2004 saw the Prancing Horses dominate the F1 calendar year-on-year, with Schumacher at the top of his form. It was at this time that Luca Di Montezemolo embarked on creating a car to reflect this motorsport success and bring such technology to the road; a project that would be dedicated to the Founder of the company. September 2002 was the first chance the world got to see the Ferrari Enzo at the Paris Auto Show; although technically the successor to the F50, the Enzo was a car to represent everything great about the brand and complement competition success with the ultimate supercar at the time. To achieve this, the Ferrari Enzo featured the pinnacle of technology, engineering and design, while all the while taking great influence from Schumacher's multiple title-winning car. This relationship can be most obviously seen in how focused the Enzo is;designed for maximum performance and downforce with a lack of creature comforts such as a radio. At the heart of the previously dubbed F60 is a 660 bhp Tipo F140B V12 mated to the fastest F1 gearbox seen at the time, propelling the beautiful body to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 217. The car we are pleased to offer was delivered new in 2004 to Italian Concessionaire Forza Spa Torino. It was born Rosso Corsa but was resprayed in 2007 by the Official Ferrari Body Shop Carrozzeria Zanasi to the Nero paint it wears today. The car maintains its tool kit, spare key, and has been awarded Red Book Classiche Certification from the Ferrari Factory.

The Ferrari 288 GTO is one of the most famous and recognisable prancing horses ever made and the first in the line of 'special series' production cars. Created as a homologation version of a 308 GTB, the 288 was reportedly produced for Ferrari to compete in Group B racing, with only 272 examples being made from 1984-1986. However, Group B was scrapped and the GTO was never to compete. All 272 examples produced remained as purely road cars and all were finished in Rosso Corsa from factory, except for one example which was Black. Despite never racing, the car that was left behind is still one of the most remarkable looking and iconic road cars ever produced. The 288 GTO is powered by a longitudinally mounted 2.9-litre twin turbocharged V8, pushing out around 400bhp, enough to accelerate the car from 0-60 mph in 5 seconds flat and on to a top speed of 189 mph, making it one of the fastest road-legal cars of its era. The 288 also received a 5-speed racing transmission, a wider track and wheels, and alightweight body comprised of aluminium and fiberglass. With just 272 examples produced during its 2 year period, the 288 GTO is the rarest of the hailed 'Ferrari Big 5', with the cars that followed, the F40, F50, Enzo, and La Ferrari all being made to higher production numbers. The car we are fortunate enough to offer was delivered new in January 1985 to official dealer Nuova Rolvo Automobili in Genova, Italy. The car is finished in the iconic colour combination of Rosso Corsa over a Nero leather interior. The car was specified from new with air conditioning and power windows and is also supplied with its official Ferrari tool kit. The car is currently undergoing a full major overhaul, whilst Classiche Certification is also in progress and will be awarded to the car shortly. Being the first in a line of 'special series' Ferrari production cars, the 288 GTO is a highly desirable and exclusive car, making it the perfect addition to any Ferrari collection and a rare opportunity to invest in a piece ofautomotive history.

The car sits today in brilliant condition and is showing just under 13,000 miles. The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (to use its official title) was the immediate descendant for the much revered 275 GTB/4 and was first shown at the Paris motor show, 1968A The Daytona nickname was supposedly invented by Ferrari aficionados and affiliates of the media in acknowledgment of the factory's unforgettable 1-2-3 triumph in the 1967 Daytona 24 hour editionA Alternatively, the story is that Ferrari had originally planned to employ the Daytona name, but changed their mind when news of the story leaked prior to the model's revealA The Tipo 251 engine was an improvement of the DOHC V12 of the 275 GTB/4, and at 4,390cc was roughly 33% larger in capacityA Six twin-choke Weber carburettors fed fuel to the engine, enabling it to produce 352bhp at 7,500rpm; enough to propel the 1,280kg machine to 60mph in under 5A5 seconds and on to a top speed of around 174mph, with a five-speed transaxle powering the rear wheelsA Manufacture ran from 1968 to 1976, throughout which time a total of 1,406 examples areunderstood to have been built - 1,269 road-going Coupes and 122 SpidersA Of the total, 158 Coupes and just seven Spiders were produced in right hand drive formA However, early versions of the model featured a full-width Plexiglass cover for the twin headlights, and the car we are offering is one of the 35 (approxA) RHD UK delivered carsA Chassis number 12853 initiallly left Maranello on the 3rd September 1969 and was sold through ColA Ronnie Hoare to Lord CowdrayA It remained in England until 2003 where it went to a large Danish CollectionA The car has since returned to England and it sits today in very good conditionA It has been awarded Ferrari Classiche Certification to supplement its already strong history file which includes a Massini report, period correspondence, plus many MOT's and also invoices for various worksA

1969 Speciale Chassis number: F101CL23457 Registration Number: 2SXY Coachwork: All alloy. The 400i Speciale offered here is not a replica and it is not a re-creation, it is a fully fledged racing speciale based upon a 400i chassis & fitted with a more modern 601HP V12 Ferrari engine from a 575 Maranello along with its associated gear box. This beautiful & fearsome car has a hand-made sports style aluminium body, widened 4 inches to fit the shortened and stiffened Ferrari 400 chassis. Powered by a 2002 575 Maranello engine / transaxle. Individual throttle bodies and a well designed exhaust manifold lifted the power to 601bhp @ 8000rpm measured on the dyno. Since the eighties Will Tomkins and his team of passionate engineers have been building and restoring historic and special road and race cars to release their utmost potential and style After three decades of ownership the owner has decided to allow someone else the opportunity to own this special car. The classic oval tubed Ferrari 400 chassis frame was shortened and built into a stiffened space frame, gas welded using traditional methods. The body is 4 inches wider then the cars of the 1960's so should not be mistaken for a GTO the extra material inserted in the wings giving the car its very distinctive and exciting appearance. The original design incorporated the Ferrari 400 chassis, the solid bush suspension and splined hubs from a 365 GT4 and a dry sumped 365 4-cam engine with its centrally mounted five speed gear box. Exciting though this was the owner realised that he could take the car to a whole new level if he could find a way to fit the lighter and more powerful 575 engine. Some fifteen years after its original incarnation the new engine was successfully fitted together with its six speed trans-axle. Amazingly the transplant saved 80kg and improved the weight distribution to its current 50/50 providing even better handling characteristics. The remarkable feature of this car is that it can be used for popping to the shops or driven to the circuit where it will show a clean pair of heels to almost anyone. The car is finished in Giallo Fly with black leatherminimalist but comfortable racing seats inside & four point racing harnesses. The car is set up for racing with all the mods one might expect of a race car. It is difficult to comprehend the performance of this car. We have had nothing quicker other then a La Ferrari. It is ferociously fast being a true 200 MPH car. The acceleration is relentless with what ever gear is currently selected seemingly making no dent in the performance. The car is also beautifully balanced & in skilled hands on track can be effortlessly drifted though the corners. A gallery of large high-resolution pictures may be viewed on our website. Following from the success of the F40, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Enzo Ferrari's first car, Ferrari decided to honour the 50th anniversary with another extremely special model, the F50. However, rather than produce around 1,300 units (as with the F40), for the F50 production would be strictly limited to 349 numbered cars. Although the F50 can be seen as a successor to the incredibly successful F40, the stark contrast between the two cars is instantly recognisable. The main difference can be seen in the power unit of the F50; a 4.7-litre naturally aspirated F1 derived V12, producing in excess of 500 bhp. Luca Di Montezemolo wanted to create a road car that could offer the most 'F1 like' experience on the road, meaning that with its carbon tub and six-speed longitudinal gearbox, the F50 clearly shows its F1 roots. The example we are offering was delivered new to France via Charles Pozzi in 1996. The car was brought to the U.K. in 2013 and maintains its original luggage, flight case, hardtop, and original books. It is finished in the iconic colourway of Rosso Corsa over Nero seats with Rosso inserts. The car is matching numbers and has been awarded Red Book Classiche Certification from Ferrari, exemplifying its originality and excellence. The car is showing under 14,000 miles and sits today in brilliant condition, with the carbon weave clearly visible through the paint!
