![CDATA[These magnificent twelve-cylinder Ferraris have enjoyed cult status for some years now and the angular Pininfarina design was the motivating factor behind this front engined masterpiece. The design was derived from the almost identical looking 365 GT4 2+2 which, itself, was based on the legendary Daytona. Production began in 1976 when Ferrari revealed its first car fitted with an automatic transmission, the 400, at the Paris Motorshow of 1976. The gearbox was a three-speed Borg Warner unit from the General Motors parts bin, reliable and certainly able to take the prodigious amount of power available. The injection version followed with Bosch K-Jetronics under the bonnet. The interior was lavishly appointed with rich leather, fine wood and high-end carpet and, together with the long-legged gearing and engine, made for excellent long distance touring. Today, its sleek lines and relatively limited production numbers have made good examples very collectable commodities. This very original, rustfree, left hand drive 1981 Ferrari 400i 2+2 Coupé was supplied new with the automatic transmission to the USA where it remained until being imported to the UK in 2016 and put into a private collection. Since arriving here, the car has had a full service and the interior re-connolized. Finished in black with beige leather interior, this Ferrari 400i is supplied with a V5C registration document and a MoT test certificate which expires in February 2019. The Ferrari 400i is the ultimate continental cruiser of its time, the Ferrari badge with a level of luxury and comfort that could only be found in the very top British marques of the time.]]

The Ferrari Mondial was designed by Pininfarina of Turin and built by Ferrari between 1980 and 1993 and is the perfect Ferrari for the enthusiast who needs the advantage of 2 child seats. The engine, transmission, suspension and steering are all either identical to or very similar to the 2 seater models such as the 328 GTB produced at the same time. Today the Mondial is considered to be one of Ferraris most practical designs as despite the 4 seat accommodation, the design loses none of its sports car appeal. This beautiful example that we are proud to offer for sale has covered just 46,000 miles from new and comes with a comprehensive history file and an original fully stamped service book. The car drives really well and is sensibly priced for one in this condition which we feel will continue to appreciate in value. 27,950

![CDATA[The Dino 308 GT4 and 208 GT4 (later Ferrari 308 GT4 and 208 GT4) were mid-engined V8 2+2 cars built by Ferrari. The Dino 308 GT4 was introduced in 1973 and supplemented by the 208 GT4 in 1975. The cars were sold with Dino badging (continuing the Dino brand to differentiate non-V12 Ferrari) until May 1976, when they received Ferrari badging. The GT4 was replaced by the Mondial 8 in 1980 after a production run of 2,826 units 308s and 840 208s. Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1975, the 208 GT4 was a low-displacement version of the V8 produced for the Italian market, where cars with engines larger than two litres were subjected to a doubled VAT (38%). The engine was de-bored to (66.8×71 mm) 2.0 Litre (1991 cc) V8, resulting in the smallest production V8 in history for a road car. Power output was 170hp at 7,700 rpm for a top speed of 137mph. Smaller Weber 34 DCNF carburettors, a lower final drive ratio and skinnier tyres completed the technical changes for the 208. Chrome (rather thanblack) accents outside and the lack of fog lights were external visual indicators of the smaller-engined GT4. Inside the 208 GT4 featured a black rather than silver dash facing. The 208 GTB replaced the 208 GT4 in 1980, after only 840 units were manufactured. This exceptional original condition, left hand drive 1977 Ferrari 208 GT4, was an Italian car imported to the UK in 2015 when the car had a comprehensive full service with new cambelts, Following its import the Ferrari specialists Joe Macari carried out the fitting of a new clutch, brakes, oil cooler pipes, new sender units, HT leads and carburettors serviced and balanced at a cost of £7,000 plus; he owner then did a tour of Europe covering 2,000 miles. Finished in red with a beige interior, this 208 GT4 is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in May 2019 and a copy of the Italian registration document. This rare 208 has been completely gone through by top Ferrari specialists in London and is readyto be used and enjoyed.]]
